Beautifully decorated 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. Renovated, open concept, great for entertaining. Large living/dining room, kitchen. Screened-in porch adjacent to private outdoor pool and hot tub. 5 flat screen TV all with access to premium Direct TV channels. W/D, MW, DW, WIFI, Blu-ray, gas grill. Beds: 1 King, 5 Twins, 1 bunk (twin over full), 2 twin memory foam roll-away beds, 1 high chair, and 1 crib.

Linens are provided with this unit, as well as a starter set of paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, and dishwasher detergent. These items will not be replenished during your stay.

Great Family Vacation Home

Great house with plenty of space and also within walking distance to the beach. Having the pool and hot tub at the house was great and the kids loved it. Love Jekyll Island and will definitely be back.

wonderful winter stay.

Meeting family here for a winter vacation. It worked out well and everyone had a great time.A couple of negatives. Sinks in 2 bathrooms were slow to drain. The furnace is very loud. Beach is unavailable during high tide.

Beautiful House! Everything in the house was well maintained and well thought out. Very close to the beach, market, and fishing pier. Easy check-in and out. They actually called to let us know the house was available early. Really couldn't have asked for a better stay.

The home is beautiful, it was in a perfect location the only issue we had was it was advertised as a heated pool and that is why I rented it, but the water was so cold we couldn’t use it. Then the last day there the hot tub stopped heating when my son called they basically told him they hope his night went well and they would report it . Other than that issue home is perfect

Not as Good as 2024 but Still a Good Place to Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The main Wifi was down according to a note that was left. The replacement wifi was bad to say the least, which made it cumbersome since the cell signal on JI is very weak. They tried to fix it temporarily, but it was still weak. I know this is a first world problem, but nearly impossible to use my work laptop or stream anything. We had to sweep up chips in the living room area upon arrival and get two ripped shower curtains replaced (not sure why cleaning crew did not tell management about this). We had to wipe down a couple of walls that had black smudges all over them. The bathroom door near the garage entryway does not lock and the lock that was on the door was broken off. Also the bathroom drain needed to be snaked because it would not drain. We would highly recommend getting new exhaust fans in the original bathrooms so that it is not so steamy after taking a shower. The bed arrangement was changed from last year, no longer a king and a queen. Only a king and twins now. Twin beds are not good for adults, especially over 6 feet tall. Towels were in short supply as well. We were told that we could not get any more, even though we were staying two weeks. Last year they stocked a cabinet in the hallway with extra towels, which didn't happen this time around. Not sure why. The hot tub had to be turned on manually out at the main control box. The remote controls were not working because the wifi was out. Took some figuring out, without instructions. Also, had no power for a day, due to crews working on the power lines nearby (not the fault of the rental). It would be nice to be able to override the bedroom TV parental controls. This place is great with regards to location and set up. Just a lot of little things that went wrong this time around. I'm glad that we stayed for two weeks, because dealing with all these issues in one week would have been a real vacation bummer. We would stay here again, but it was not as good as it was in 2024.

Actually Better Than The Pics!!! Must Stay!

Let me start by saying I have rented many VRBO's and the Sandpiper Hideaway was actually better than the pics or description. The home is absolutely beautiful. The interior decorations were amazing and we were able to enjoy them with small children. Usually upon entering a home we spend the first half hour relocating anything that will break or be damaged. Everything in this home is placed with care and for your enjoyment. We had 4 children ages 1to 8 and we didn't have to move anything. By far the best stocked rental kitchen I have ever been in. This owner has thought of everything. I feel this place was designed with love and care for those who would stay here. Knives that actually cut. Plastic and glass dishes. Multiple cookie sheets and fry pans. Plenty of dish rags and towels. Pool Glasses. Plenty of silverware, two trash cans. Extra Towels. Beach toys, cooler, beach chair, beach cart, outdoor shower. Large pool and Hot tub in a very private backyard. Short walk to the beach and centrally located. Ample parking. Games. I could go on and on. Super easy check in. Had a starter kit waiting on me. Keys and brochures. Happy to give island info. Upon arriving I had a couple glitches (mostly user error) they were handled swiftly by Donna and Regina at the Rental Agency. Super efficient and when they say "I'll get somebody right on that" they mean right as in 5 minutes. I know anywhere can have issues, how those issues are handled is the deal breaker for me. You can rent with confidence. Great owners plus Great rental agency makes for a GREAT VACATION! Oh and the beautiful Island is a plus!

Anniversary trip

Wonderful house, very spacious and well appointed. Enjoyed watching the mother deer and her twin fawns grazing in the front yard. Very relaxing stay. Restaurants on the island were sparse and the ones we visited were not very good.
