Hale Kamaole is a South Maui condominium complex located across the street from Kamaole Beach Park III, one of the most popular, family-friendly, and lifeguarded beaches on Maui. Enjoy spectacular sunsets from your private lanai or head to the beach for a romantic evening stroll along the shoreline under a canopy of starlight.These spacious rentals, set in beautifully landscaped grounds, are an ideal setting for a relaxing sun-soaked vacation. Catch some rays next to one of two pools on the property, choose to play some tennis at the on-site tennis court, or toss a Frisbee around on the sprawling grass lawns. All condos also have free WiFi access. The outdoor barbeque areas are a must for grilling the perfect dinner, and you'll love indulging in a night out at a large selection of nearby restaurants in Kihei or Wailea. Also choose to shop at a variety of stores located along South Kihei Rd or at the boutiques showcased at the Shops at Wailea. Hale Kamaole is close to great shopping, popular Maui golf courses, and fantastic snorkel beaches. Here, warm aloha awaits families and couples alike.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Overall the prop. was adequate. Bare bones. We had to buy salt & pepper with the shakers. The fitted bottom bedsheet would not stay in place, ending up with us tangled in the extra sheet. Amusing but not restful.
Who is Vacasa? I think I may have paid them an additional fee for the local management.???

Flies
Saw some flies in the unit, a few every day. Thought maybe we let them in from the Lanai. Eventually figured out that they were in the unit to begin with. They were behind every window with curtains. The lived between the window and the curtains. Some came out when they smelled our foods.
Killed them all, then no more flies for the rest of our months rental.

What a dump! Dont waste your money on this place!
This place is so outdated. All the fabric on all the furniture is faded and dingy. Did not feel comfortable on the couch without a covering on it. So gross! The lanai had torn up carpet and it felt like you were going to fall through because its in need of much delayed repairs. You can hear ever single movement of the people above you. Be prepared to wake up when the people above you are awake. We found very little comfort or relaxation on this trip. Wanted to spend time on the lanai watching whales but didnt feel safe out there. Black mold on the shower curtain as well as standing water in the stall when we arrived. 1 ac unit in the bedroom which made it difficult to cool the living room down. Took having it all day to get comfortable in the living room by 3 pm. But then by the time it was bed time the bedroom was so cold it was uncomfortable until it warmed up. Thankfully they had enough warm blankets, but by morning we were in a pile of sweat. Had to have the tv at a level 75 in order to hear it over the loudness of the neighbors walking above us. Zero attention or new items have been added to this space in many many years. Not worth thr price paid by far. This should not be rented in its current condition. Super small bed. Big bedroom with plenty of space for a bed that has room for 2 people. First night we tried sleeping together on the bed but was so uncomfortable one of us had to sleep on the gross couch. We left super early on check out day. Save your money
