It was a nice cosy unit. Was in a nice quiet area and was only a minutes drive to the beach. Plenty of room, outside shower for washing off after coming home from the beach.

Bring own towels, bedding of sheets and pillowcase. Bring extra toilet paper and tea towel, and box of tissues would help. Otherwise everything is there. Quiet place, bedrooms aircon, not in lounge only fans. Cool unit with spacious areas. Dog friendly is a bonus

Property was more then we expected. Great location. Very clean, great facilties, bed were comfy and plenty of room and activities.The kids and us loved our stay.We did have our dog with us but looks lovely and secure that next time we would consider bringing him with us.We look forward to our next stay.Only suggestion would be to mention to bring some coffee beans for the coffee machine. Thanks for a great stay

Lovely, cosy accommodation in good location. Easy access to shops and river. Pet-friendly with a fully enclosed yard. Kitchen has everything you could want for a holiday stay, including a coffee machine. Books and games provided. Very well maintained and clean when we arrived.

Jack's Shack is great! The place was extremely clean and well supplied with everything you might need. The yard is secure and our dog was very happy. There was ample room for our boat to be behind closed gates.

Building memories is so important as you never know how long you or your loved ones are here for. There is no better way to build memories than spending time at the beach swimming, reading a book, taking the dogs for a swim, doing a spot of fishing of the river banks and jetty or being out on a boat with family and friends.

Why they chose this property

Jack's Shack is our place to build new memories, after loosing our son Jack to suicide at the tender age of 21. Jack loved to fish and be outdoors, so Jack's Shack would have been his dream holiday destination. To reflect his generous nature, we are sharing this beautiful part of the world and his Shack with others. It is a very special place for our family so please come and enjoy it, look after it and love it as much as we do.

What makes this property unique

Come and see it to believe what a special part of the world Burrum Heads is. The Foodworks does the most amazing ice-creams! It's worth coming here just for that!
