A 1 room cabin with a loft
Included in the cabin is:

Has a kitchenette with microwave, electric skillet, coffee pot and 3.1 cu ft fridge.
Cabin #5 is a tastefully decorated family cabins available with a 'fun' loft to sleep up to 8 guests. On the front porch is a rocking chair and pew for sitting out on starry nights. The Cedar River is a short pleasant walk from the cabin. A rural area with many wildlife, but close to many attractions, including but not limited to the Mississippi town of Muscatine, Iowa. Many activities at the camp, with acres of timber and trails that run along the Cedar River. Plus our brand new swimming pool, horseshoes, basketball, sand volleyball, playground.
Cabins are heated and air conditioned for comfort. All cabins have fire pits, charcoal grills and picnic tables.
During summer months, enjoy access to our NEW pool and bath house!

Family vaca

Cabin was clean and spacious. I had 6 teenage boys with me and we were comfortable. I used the loft and had some privacy. We explored the area by swimming at beaches, fishing, and rented a boat on Lake MacBride. I’d definitely go back.

Nice Getaway

This was our second time back to this property. Stayed in the exact same cabin as last time. Did not disappoint. We thoroughly enjoyed staying there. Will be a place we will come back to when considering cabins in that area.

Two Family Getaway

Our two families include 7 kids ranging from 2 - 16 years and all of them were happy at the ranch! We rented 2 cabins side by side and were pleased with how easy it was to meet in the middle for cooking and our campfire. We loved hiking the woods, playing sand volleyball, and the littles went on the slip n slide.

Great Stay!

We had a wonderful stay here! Even though the owners are still fixing up the property, our cabin was great! Very clean and had everything we needed for a nice weekend away. The personal grills, fire pits and picnic tables were a great touch! Had a couple minor hiccups; like the bench on our front porch had nails sticking out so we couldn’t sit on it to enjoy the view. But it didn’t stop us from enjoying our getaway! Will definitely be back!!

Nikki, Lee and their teenage daughter Emilee Salek are the hosts. The owners are Jim and Freda Sojka, third wind entrepreneurs with a longtime dream of buying this camp so close to our home. It has been a church camp since the 70s, we wanted to convert it to something families could enjoy. We also love a family business to run together.
We wanted to share our good fortune, through the sale of a successful business, (Bug Soother)this is an excellent way to be able to do that.

Beautiful area, within 10 minutes of our home. We fell in love with it several years ago, and finally were able to purchase the property.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

With 53 acres of timber and trails along the Cedar River, our cabins are perfect for the outdoor explorer. Plus, with our brand new swimming pool, volleyball and basketball courts, horseshoes, and 2 playgrounds, there are plenty of activities for all ages. During the summer season, roast marshmallows around the fire pit, and relax.

We have 2 big buildings that hold events, and a large commercial kitchen to cater to events.

The Ranch is set up to make some memories.

Also on the property will be a transitional living community for women in crisis. By staying at the ranch, people are supporting a fresh start for these women.
