Beautiful house!

We had a wonderful holiday at Lalande Laborie and would highly recommend the Maison Maitre. As a family ranging from age 1 to 70 it was perfect for all. The house is immaculately maintained and the gardens and pool are beautiful. The morning pastry delivery was very efficient and a great service. We found the house to be in a perfect location for exploring the Perigord.

Alors c'est simple, si vous devez venir décompresser, c'est l'endroit idéal. TOUT était parfait. C'est une demeure et un domaine merveilleux. TOUT était PARFAIT !

It is a beautiful house in a lovely scenic area.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is well equipped, very clean and stylish. With the hot tub not on, we were able to make arrangements to use the tub in the spa. We appreciate it. It might be good to have a few toys for young children in the house, because when you fly from another country space is limited for toys. The camping cot provided, was ok. The bedding for the cot was not appropriate- it was a disappointment as we have arranged in advance for it. Otherwise a pleasant experience.

Good afternoon, I was sorry to hear about the baby bed. We do use them all of the time and we never had any complaints about the bedding, however if you had told us you were not satisfied we could have tried to assist you. It is almost impossible to put toys for children in our houses, as we have children of all ages. A perfect place to stay

The pictures don't do justice to this lovely holiday home. Well equipped, beautifully designed and supremely comfortable, this is a great place to stay. The hosts are charming and helpful and the eating areas, shaded by a large pergola, on the terrace or in the dining room are the stuff of lasting holiday memories. The pool has a magical filtration system that means it never seemed to need cleaning of leaves or debris and the peace and quiet on the hillside was fabulous. Highly recommended.

Pure luxury

We had a wonderful week here. Our two teenagers loved having space to themselves. The furnishing is very tasteful, the bathrooms incredible. And having a spa right next door was really the icing on the cake. Sanne was incredibly helpful, booking us canoeing and horse riding. She even organised breakfast deliveries from the bakery. Have booked to come next year!

Wonderful House - exceptional quality

This house is absolutely gorgeous - exceptionally high standard throughout with beautiful pool and grounds too. The owners are extremely helpful, speak very good English and there is so much flexibility with shopping before arrival, bread delivered for breakfast each morning and dinners cooked - all very reasonable indeed. The house is very close to the gorgeous town of Montignac. Our only advice would be that there are 4 double bedrooms including the master suite plus a bunk room off the master suite - which we found unclear on the HomeAway website. Basically, it sleeps 8 people in 4 doubles plus one bunk room. However the owners were very helpful with extra camp beds in order to accommodate our party. There are numerous sitting areas inside and wonderful sitting areas outside too with balconies off two of the bedrooms. When we were there there was a teepee tent over the terrace just above the pool, we think because of a wedding which was a pity because it was too hot to sit under and we would have enjoyed using that terrace. Aircon which is in the top rooms was essential. The only other thing to mention is that the wifi is patchy.

Thank you for your appreciation and your comments are well noted, including your comment regarding the wifi. Of course I contacted our it man and he told me that all through our region, there is a simular problem as due to the fact that there is no cable de fibre as yet, which should be provided by Orange, our provider and will probably arrive in due course ( estimation 1 to 2 years). Great house that has been completely updated to very high standards.

We, along with three other couples, stayed for 12 wonderful days and enjoyed every minute. Latitia was always helpful and is a great chef. The pastries delivered every morning were great. Quiet location with easy access to Montinac and its many restaurants and shops. The on site Spa is very nice but a bit pricy at 20 Euros per person for use of the hot tubs each day. Massages were very reasonable and very good. Highly recommended!
