There are plenty of grocery stores and restaurants. Location is terrific, less than 2 minutes from a major highway.

I had to stay in Kernersville for work and dislike hotels. I couldn’t pick a better place. My stay was peaceful and the room was clean and cozy. Miss Phyllis was a great host. She was very friendly and accommodating. I also got to meet one of her pups. Over all, lovely home and welcoming host.

Excellent location with good shopping and restaurants. Readily accessible to the highway making it easy to get to my scheduled events throughout the weekend. Beautiful accommodations conducive to privacy and excellent nights’ sleep. Excellent host!

Our extended stay in the cottage suite was quiet, safe, and clean. The bed was comfortable and the garden lovely to view. The owner provided weekly linen and touch up cleaning and we were grateful for this. The in-town location was excellent and within walking distance to a garden park and the library.

Blooming good stay!

We enjoyed our stay with Phyllis. The accommodations were exactly as described. Super comfortable bed in a sweet little neighborhood. Very convenient to everything. We are sorry we didn’t get to visit more with Phyllis but were in town for a sports tournament. I definitely recommend you stay here.

Lovely Room

We enjoyed our stay in the guest room at the Garden Cottage. The room and bathroom are spacious. The guest room has a small refrigerator and microwave and Keurig coffee machine. Our host, Phyllis was nice and respectful of our privacy. We would stay here again if we return to the area.

Great little stay

All the amenities that we could want, fantastic location for food options! I was surprised that it’s not its own cottage, it’s a room with its own bathroom that is in the owner’s house. Owner responded quickly and available if we needed her.

Very clean room and bath--really immaculate--with a tv, microwave fridge and coffee maker. Close to major highway and downtown. I woul unhesitantlyvrecommend this bnb. I rate it as excellent.

Cozy and comfortable

The Garden Cottage is a delightful place to stay. Phyllis is a wonderful host. The accommodations are clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. And the gardens in the backyard are beautiful even on a cool fall morning as the flowers are waning.

Exactly what we needed

Everything was exactly as described. Clean comfortable and charming little place to stay not far from Winston-Salem. The owner obviously took care and attention to create a warm environment for her guests.

Spacious Room in a Prime Location

Comfortable, spacious, private room that ia centrally located between two major cities. Phyllis was very kind and welcoming. The puppies were an excellent plus. The room and bathroom had everything we needed! We fell in love with Kernersville and we will be back!

Wonderful stay!!!

We loved staying at the garden cottage! It was very clean and quiet. The neighborhood was really nice and it’s close to a lot of restaurants. The host was wonderful! She was quick to respond to our questions and she was very nice. We hope to stay here again soon if we are in the area again! I would definitely recommend this property!

Wonderful Spot for a Quick Get-away!

Mine and my partners’ stay at the garden cottage was delightful! We had everything we needed to be comfortable and the location was great. There are stores and restaurants around, very easily accessible. Phyllis was incredibly welcoming and very kind. She made sure we had all that we needed. Would definitely book again!

My home is on a lovely street that reminds one of Williamsburg or Old Salem. Picket fencing, brick sidewalks and street lamps.

Garden Cottage is beautiful and private. The flower garden is well-maintained and guests are welcome to have morning coffee on the yellow bench for enjoying the garden. We are convenient to restaurants, historic areas and to shopping.
