Unlike all the bland hotels you've stayed in, the Ole Bistro Inn is uniquely modeled after the charm, romance, and intimacy of an old Paris bistro. It is an atmosphere that will amaze you. The Garden suite is on the ground floor and is great for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.

There are 3 suites at this location so be sure to check out all of them. If you have a larger gathering, rent multiple suites or the entire building!

Cleanliness standards are a top priority;
After each guest stay all sheets, pillow cases, and blankets are replaced with freshly washed linens, and all linens are machine washed with bleach.
All surfaces are washed and wiped down with disinfectant.
All bathrooms are hand washed including showers, shower walls, shower floors, shower doors, mirrors, sinks, etc. Toilets are scrubbed and the base and toilet bowls are hand washed.

Location was absolutely perfect for walking to local shopping, restaurants, public beach and boat tours. Space was clean and had everything we could need. Host was very responsive to any questions. Would highly recommend!!

Host and communication was excellent. However, condition of the property should be improved quite a bit. For the cost, we would have expected much more. Some suggested improvements would be water pressure in the shower, maybe a keurig with coffee pods and nicer interior (blinds/curtains, etc).

Amazing location and great space! Walking distance to everything, right in the heart of it all. Nicholas was very nice, communicative, and an overall great host. The only downside was that there was a noticeable food smell in the mornings from the breakfast restaurant across the hall, and it could get a little noisy as people headed there. Overall, it did the job, and I would definitely stay again!

Garden Suite

We stayed in the Garden sweet for the weekend. Place was very clean, and is in walking distance to shops, restaurants, bars, and the lake. The only downside was it took forever for the water to warm up and the shower water pressure was not great. Fine if you don't have a lot of hair but I do. Not a huge deal but I like a dark bedroom to sleep in and they had sheer curtains and there was a street light that would shine through at night. All and all a lovely place to stay.

Great location right in the middle of downtown Lake Geneva. Loved the gas bedroom fireplace. Great kitchen amenities! Very clean and no cleaning fee a definite +.

Excellent stay at this location. Prompt communications with Nicholas responding to my questions. Everything was as described in the listing. Everything in Lake Geneva that we wanted to see was in walking distance. Great Eggs, a very good breakfast & lunch cafe is basically right outside our door. Nice outside porch to sit on with a glass of wine to wrap up the evening.

The Ole Bistro Inn is full of charm! The area was quiet even though it is less than a block away from the Main St and just a couple of blocks from the Lake. The food at the Great Eggs cafe within the Inn was superb. We thorough enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it.

Fun at the Ole Bistro Inn

We enjoyed our stay at the Ole Bistro Inn. The Garden Suite is well appointed, clean and had lots of space and storage areas for visitors. The location is superb as we were able to walk to most of the places in and near downtown, including Lake Geneva. The water pressure in the kitchen was weak and the shower instructions were inaccurate, but those are minor details. Thanks for a nice weekend!

This suite is 1 of 3 private suites located in the best location possible in the city of Lake Geneva. It's 1 block from the lake and downtown. My guests can book their own private suite, or all 3 suites and have the building to themselves.

What makes this property unique

Even though it's a block from everything, it's actually it's own little quite space because it's setback just slightly from the road and a block from the main street so you don't hear the hustle and bustle happening just a block away. You can sit out on the patio and simply enjoy the view and surroundings. It's the little things in life. Like just sitting there having a relaxing moment. These are the moments that become so meaningful and that you remember. It's just such an amazing place.
