Beware!
I’ve stayed in old seagrove area for the past 15 years and I’ve never had a problem ever. With this house that is very pretty and updated, the sheets were not changed in the master that we stayed in and the kids bunk beds (3) had sand in them, upon arrival. That was very disappointing. I contacted the manager to find out she’s the owner and staying in the carriage house on the property. Never had an owner on the same property, interesting. I then felt like we were being spied on.
Moving on, the house advertises that it comes with 6 bikes. It indeed does BUT they are in very bad shape. Rusted handle bars, seats that can’t be tightened and chains that repeatedly came off to the point that we were fixing them daily!
The bunk room upstairs has no a/c vent and would get very hot and when trying to turn the air down, the owners clearly have control of that because it kept getting turned back up so it stayed very hot in that room.
Another inconvenience, each bathroom only came with two towels, hand towels and wash cloths. Not nearly enough for the amount of people the house sleeps!!
Let me say, this is the first review I have ever written. Our stay was less than it could’ve been if I had known these things before. So just be careful before you rent this house.
