Blissful Beachfront Bungalow. Beach- Hot tub & Sauna-All Weather Dome-Private

Nestled between Sugar Loaf Mountain and the waters of Aspy Bay, just 10 minutes off the Cabot Trail, Open all year round . Our Blissful Beachfront Bungalow sits on a 9 km long stretch of pristine pink sandy beach consisting of Cabots Landing Provincial Park, North Harbour Beach and South Harbour Beach. Spend your days exploring world class hiking trails, golfing in nearby Ingonish or the skiing at the newly developed Cape Smokey. Relax , disconnect and enjoy this magical private space .

Our 2 bedroom retreat comes equipped with everything you could need for a perfect vacation, including private hot tub on you own 1000 square foot deck overlooking the beach.
We would appreciate if kids don’t play with playdoh , water or slime inside the house . Furniture should not be moved . FirePit is not supposed to be moved . Garbage needs to sorted , Burn restrictions are to be followed. Water to be poured once fire pit is used . Only toilet paper to be flushed , we have a septic tank .

What a beautiful spot! One night was made more blissful with wild winds and rain! We truly enjoyed our stay. The hot tub and sauna were wonderful. My favourite was the easy access to the beautiful sandy beach where we enjoyed a lovely, long walk.

Beautiful location

Quiet and beautiful, this property was exactly what we were looking for when booking in Cape Breton. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed for our stay.

Nova Scotia east coast beach vacation

Had a wonderful stay at the ocean in a lovely home right on the beach. Beautiful views and the house had everything we wanted and needed. I highly recommend this vacation rental and we would most definitely stay here again!

Great 5 days stay

Great location and place to stay, check-in really easy sent yale lock code for front door. Very clean and setup will. Hot tub and sauna are a added benefit, great way to stay each day. Location really good right on the beach front .

We stayed 2 nights for a girls getaway and we enjoyed every thing from the beautiful cottage to the beach and the hot tub. We didn’t use the sauna. The beach is fabulous. The only small suggestion we had was maybe the outdoor shower could be closed in so you could take your bathing suit off to get the sand out, that way you wouldn’t get sand in the hot tub. We would definitely recommend this place, it is lovely.

Finding this beautiful spot was an incredible treat for my 2 best friends and I celebrating my 50th birthday. It's hard to imagine but the view is even more breathtaking in real life than the gorgeous pictures! The house is spacious, decorated to perfection, full of fun amenities and really close to a grocery market. The dome was one of our favorite hang outs especially watching a few storms roll through but the relaxing hot tub was also a winner. And I have to mention we were literal steps away from walking up and down the beach which we did for the better part of a day - unbelievably gorgeous views. If we are lucky enough to come back to Nova Scotia we would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat.

Beach and mountain retreat

A magnificent property on the ocean with all amenities you would desire including a hot tub. Sauna, porch bubble and full kitchen with all you need. Perhaps the nicest place We have stayed in our travels over past 15 years. Hiking nearby up Meat cove mountain trail with awesome views of north side of island. We really really enjoyed this get away!

The name says it all: “Blissful Beachfront Bungalow”

Peaceful setting with spectacular views of the moonrise and sunrise seemingly coming out of the ocean. View from the sauna and hot tub were awesome. And the clear dome is a great space to relax if the wind comes up. Access to the beautiful fine sand beach is only a short walk to through the park next door. At night we fell asleep listening to the sound of the waves on the beach. The perfect spot for a relaxing getaway.

Sugar Loaf house

Although the weather was unseasonably hot and it was not possible to keep the bedrooms cool enough for quality sleep, the house was excellent, comfortable, and well equipped, and the setting near the water was great.

Hello Walter, The air conditioning performance can be low in 38 degrees weather . It was not normal to have weather like that in Nova Scotia. I am glad you enjoyed the stay nonetheless.

Wonderful location

Absolutely beautiful location - the beach was quiet and we had lots of fun playing in the ocean and small stream that flowed into the ocean. The rental was well maintained, clean, and the amenities were abundant. It is clear the property manager has thought of many kitchen utensils and other accessories to make the visit very comfortable. The listing wasn't fully accurate though in that it did not mention the tap water wasn't drinkable and there were security cameras on the exterior of the property (these weren't noted on the listing when we booked). Overall, we had a great visit and would certainly stay at the property again and recommend staying here to others.

Yes it's luxuriously isolated as it looks

Certainly if you want the feel out of a HGTV special, this is the place to be. The beach during the day, the stars at night, everyone had a view of something. A couple of useful tidbits. 1) Yes there is a Washer Dryer in the property. It either was buried or I forgot that, and had I known, I likely would have been able to bring a smaller suitcase. The house is located on kind of a public road, so you may see people walking through the back yard. It was a perfect size for two couples, although not as many amenities for children. The drive up to Meat Cove is absolutely worth it. Would love to try other properties as well from the same owner.

Nice property

The property is nice, clean and well equipped. It’s not as quiet as we tought it would be. There is a lot of motorcycle and quad passing by. Plus, there is a new condtruction just beside and they were working on it while we were there so lots of noise. Not the owner’s fault but good to know. We had an issue with de fire alarm. The battery was down so we wrote to the manager, she answered that somebody would come and change the battery. We left three days later and no one came to change it. Happy we did’nt have major issue. Note that you cannot drink water from the tab, it could be mentionned in the ad.

Hi Sophie, Thank you for your review and your feedback. I do apologize re the smoke alarm . Perhaps I misunderstood and thought that it was okay to change it after you left. The beach is public so it’s hard to not allow other vehicles to move around. The construction next door will no longer be an issue as hopefully it will be completed:) . Dug Well water is common in this area locals drink this . We recommend not to drink it , especially if you are not comfortable to drink unfiltered water . We have this added to our check in details and binder . We also provide drinking water bottles . We are aiming to add a filtration system to this cottage for 2023 :) Once again, I apologize for any inconvenience caused and grateful and appreciate the 5 star review. Kind regards Priyanka.

Amazing rental.

We loved this Sugar Loaf home. Everything was well-appointed and very comfortable. I had a question when we arrived and the owner got back to me very quickly. The home is close to everything we needed for our Cape Breton vacation. We hiked behind the house up Sugar Loaf mountain and enjoyed walks on the beach. Would love to return again!

Good times!!!!

The property was beautiful! Communication with the host was easy. We were snowed in, but it wasn't an issue, because we had everything we needed....hot tub, comfortable living room for all of us to watch movies and relax. I would love to go back in the summer to enjoy the beach. I would absolutely recommend this property.

Blissful, serene and beautiful

My friends and I had a great time at this property. Right on the beach with beautiful views. Secluded location but close enough to trails, restaurants and shops. Priyanka was attentive and courteous.

We have been managing luxury vacation rental properties In Nova Scotia for the past 8 years and have a team of caretakers who maintain the property and are on call should any problems arise. Our cleaners painstakingly wipe down all surfaces and high touch areas with a diluted bleach solution and all bedding is washed at the highest temperature to ensure the house Is properly disinfected between guest visits.

The 300 kilometre loop around Nova Scotia’s Cape Breton shows off some of the east coast’s best landscapes, while highlighting the history of the area’s Scottish roots.
