While I appreciate the quick responses from both VRBO and the host, this property was terrible. We had to book last minute (as VRBO did not realize the other property we booked was off the market - even though we booked a year previous) and this property was dirty (used toothbrushes and no drain plug in the bathroom) and not as pictured. The property is not well kept up and the amenities are all but non-existent. It is a townhouse that is 15 minutes from downtown and is priced at 30% more than the (single family home) property we had booked in the downtown area. We booked 3 nights but left to go to a hotel after the first night. I did not realize that the 'policy' is that we need to notify about any issues before the booking is complete so there was no interest or willingness from the host in providing any refunds or relief. I was just happy to be out of the property and staying at a cheap (but clean) hotel we could find in the area. A very, very disappointing experience. This property should be removed from the VRBO site.
