Family-sized Farmhouse w/deck & access to private Vermont Quarry. Pet Friendly!
Our 1830s rustic and comfortable family farmhouse, Blue Flyer Farm, is available for rent through the seasons.
The Summer months are filled with blueberries and rhubarb, with swims in the quarry and hikes around the meadows. Fall is full of foliage, hot chocolate, starry nights and toasty fires, lovely at the outdoor fire pit when conditions allow. Winter is abundant with skiing, snow, sledding and skating, in relatively close proximity to some of the best ski mountains in Southern Vermont. X-Country trails are just around the corner and the warm fireplace is perfect for recovering from your day's adventures.
The farmhouse has been recently renovated but maintains a rustic charm – peaceful setting with breathtaking vistas. Conveniently located near major destination spots: historic Chester, Weston, Grafton, Londonderry, and Manchester; skiing nearby at Magic, Bromley, Stratton, and a little further isOkemo and Mt. Snow. Killington is an hour away.
Blue Flyer Farm is our home and we expect you to be respectful. We also expect you to enjoy the amazing outdoors on the property, and to be comfortable and relaxed as our guests. We love to cook, and the kitchen is fully set for large family meals. We'll expect you to make many great memories -- swimming in the quarry in the summer, gazing at the stars on crystal clear nights, eating amazingly fresh local foods from the West Townshend, Chester and Londonderry farmers' markets; and above all, being able to share this wonderful place with family and friends.

Why they chose this property
We seem to get a lot more snow, a lot more sun, and a lot more sunsets than other locations, so our little spot in Vermont is always lovely to come home to.

It feels wonderful to host, to have families with young kids and adult children all have fun int his one location. A great retreat, with caring details and warmth designed into the house.
