Beautiful setting, charming rustic house with everything you need.
Homey, comfortable place with tons of rustic charm and wonderful views. Well conceived layout that worked perfectly for the three of us and our dog. Only drawback was dirt access road, which was a complete muddy mosh pit; not passable in spring snow melt season by anything but a four wheel drive high clearance vehicle. Thankfully, that’s what we had. We would most definitely return and highly recommend the Baby Barn!
Beautiful and Unique
House was beautiful and very unique! Stayed with family and friends, (went skiing on Stratton mountain which felt like a short 15 min drive) Surprisingly plenty of room! Would make sure you have a car with 4 wheel drive to get up the hill to house. Would love to go back!
Baby Barn is a work of art
It was a privilege to have stayed here- secluded and comfortable even in below zero weather. The accommodations allowed my family to enjoy the richness of old Vermont during the holidays and have a home base that defines artistry in architecture and design. Everything in this house has a purpose and a story to tell. The entire experience will be an enduring memory for my family. We are grateful to the owner and his staff for outstanding work.
Thank you so much
I'm glad you enjoyed it
It makes me feel good to share it with people who understand it and appeciate it
A hidden escape
We had a wonderful time spending the holidays at the Baby Barn. A true escape form the hustle and bustle in a wonderful setting. Gives peace and quiet a whole new meaning.
This place is a gem. Unique! Fun! Cozy!
My one criticism is the condition of the furniture. The sofa and matching chair in the living space were in terrible condition. Additionally, some of the beds/mattresses seemed to be on their last leg.
This place was clean and tidy. (Clean floors, no dust, sinks and bathrooms very clean, bedding was in decent condition, towels appeared to be newer.) I just couldn't help but think the place felt dirty because the couch was in such bad condition. It is a gem and I am hoping the owner will upgrade the furniture to ensure positive experiences for future guests.
The owner has since replaced the couch in the living area.
Please don't stay here...your life will never be the same afterward
Please do not stay at the Baby Barn. You will feel like you are in a magical land, a dream, a fantasy and then your vacation will end and you will have to go back to reality. You will not be able to focus on your job because your heart will remain in the Baby Barn and you most likely will lose your job. Then you will not be able to return and your life will be forever changed.
Seriously, we have been four times over the years and it takes us WEEKS to move on. My (teenagers) tear up when they look at pictures.
Amazing place. Amazing.
