Our "Two Cub Cabin" is located in the heart of the Sweetwater community just off the 9th hole tee box. Enjoy stunning views from the deck of Bear Lake's turquoise waters, mountains, and golf course. Your stay will come with access to a private beach (Ideal Beach Resort) which includes pools, hot tubs, saunas, mini-golf, tennis courts, picnic areas, rentals, and much more. The area is covered with trails, Beaver Mountain Ski Resort, family activities, and don't forget the Raspberry shakes... Yum!

Property just as described. Amazing view, tons of wildlife roaming around. Saw a moose and many deer. Clean and exactly what we needed for our stay. Good size for 10 people or less. Check in and check out a breeze. Would stay again!

Pretty property with a beautiful view. Comfortably housed 3 adult couples and a young kid. Sunrise over the like is worth waking up for. Saw lots of deer and had the pleasure of seeing a mama moose with 2 babies in the neighborhood relatively close to the cabin.

Wonderful, clean cabin. Had all of the features we wanted as a family to enjoy a weekend getaway. Great views. Loved the cabin and decor. Feels much bigger than 2000 sq ft because of the excellent layout of the kitchen, dining, area and family room. We will be back!

Spring. Break at Two Cubs Cabin

My family (5 people) and some lifelong friends (5 people) stayed at this cabin for a Spring Break Getaway. We had a lovely, peaceful time. The cabin has a fantastic view of the lake. Derek, the host was responsive and attentive to our needs. We couldn’t have asked for a better time! We will definitely book again in the future!

Bear Lake is gorgeous in the winter! I have lived in northern Utah for a couple of decades but have never gone to Bear Lake in the winter. It was stunning! This charming cabin complete the winter feel. It was clean and homey. The owner was kind and quick to respond with any need we had. I would highly recommend this lovely place for any season.

Beautiful views

We had a great stay. The views from the back porch are fabulous. We definitely spent most of our time out there! The living area was the perfect size for our group when we came in. The internet worked well, as did all kitchen appliances. There is a nice fan in each bedroom. The open windows plus the fans made for very comfortable nights. The pass to enter Ideal Beach was perfect and gave access to a nice uncrowded beach.

We had a wonderful stay at this home. My only recommendation is to update some of the info in the the binder. Thankfully, there is AC in the home, the binder says there is not. The check out items to complete also don't match what I was sent. I feel a bit bad because we didn't take the sheets off the bed because we just opened the binder to see what we were supposed to do. When I got home, I noticed I had a vrbo message and saw we should've taken the sheets off. My apologies! Anyways, we had a wonderful time at this cabin and at the lake. My 9 year old niece was enamored with the view, and we all wanted to stay another couple of days.

The Two Cub Cabin is owned as a father and son partnership.

Craig and Cathy are both Utah natives. They have 4 kids and 6 wonderful grandkids. Craig has recently retired from Fidelity Investments after 25+ years as a Service Consultant. They have recently pursued their passions of caregiving by opening an assisted living in Spanish Fork, UT.

Derek and Jessica are also Utah natives, They have 3 busy kids and a puppy named Sophie. Derek is currently working in software sales and Jessica runs a successful salon from our home in Eagle Mountain, UT

Why they chose this property

Our family has been looking for years to find a place to escape their busy lives, enjoy the beautiful outdoors and create new family memories. Two Cub Cabin has been able to provide priceless memories for the family and we look forward to many more to come. We hope you enjoy our cabin as much as we do!

What makes this property unique

There are many reasons why we fell in love with our property. Some of the top reasons are the stunning unobstructed view of Bear Lake, the mountains, and the Garden City valley. We enjoy Bear Lake during every season of the year. Whether it's playing games outside on the yard during the summer, admiring the beautiful colors in the fall, enjoying a cup of hot chocolate in front of the fireplace during the winter, or watching the wildlife during the spring. Every season has its unique things to do.
