Emerald Bay II - A great, well-maintained home steps from the beach in Surfside Beach. The house is located on the north end of Surfside, a very nice street in Surfside. The house was built in 2008, very clean, with a good-sized pool. We keep it meticulously clean, are continuing to add nice amenities to the house. There are 6 TVs, 2 with DVD players and Chromcast sticks for your use.. We also have free wireless throughout the house. There is a beautiful cherry hardwood floor in the living area, new paint each year, and an electronic door lock to minimize the possibility of key loss. Check out the paver deck for the private pool! In 2019, we added a screened-in porch with fans, and it is THE spot where everyone relaxes with a drink in the evening, overlooking the pool. In 2020, we replaced the den furniture. All bedrooms have hardwood & it looks GREAT! We also have a charcoal grill with outdoor seating. The interior is painted each year, and touched up throughout the summer to ensure it remains VERY CLEAN with updated amenities.

This is one of the few properties in Surfside with 5 bedrooms, so including extended family in your vacation is another plus. The house is a duplex, in the pictures, it is the house on the right. The pool is private, it's NOT shared with any other property. The pool is not heated.

The beach, which is less than 100 yards from the front door is a guarded, public access beach; it is wide and clean, with no high-rises to crowd the beach. North Surfside is nice because it is close to the restaurants in the center of Surfside without the traffic on the streets. Your children can ride their bikes in the street or fish at the nearby lake.

There's plenty to do in the area. Surfside has a nice little downtown, with open-air restaurants, small shops, and a fishing pier. Just a few minutes away in Myrtle Beach is a boardwalk and amusement park, lots of restaurants, and shopping. The location of Surfside Beach is great if golf is part of your vacation. Surfside is about 20 minutes north of Pawley's Island, and about 30 minutes south of North Myrtle Beach. There are over 100 golf courses within a 30 minutes drive.

This house rents only to families and responsible adults. This house is not available to groups of young adults/college students on break.

+ in 2020, VRBO began to require the renters pay taxes through VRBO. As a result, I
have lowered rates by 8% per week to offset this increase.
