Captain's Quarters: Home on 1/2 acre, pets okay, circle drive, new Trex deck.

Two-story hillside home witha full kitchen upstairs and a kitchenette downstairs. Two master bedrooms, two baths and a kids room downstairs. Gorgeous views of the EB lake. Decking around half the house with a rebuilt, large viewing deck on the lakeside. Plenty of room inside and outside for all the family and their water toys or boat and trailer. The new deck is sturdy and sustainable with Trex deck boards. New dual pane windows for better views and reduced energy use. 1/2 acre fenced lot with a newly paved road. We're only about a 1/2 mile from Hot Springs Landing and very popular launching and camping area.

Overall a great property. Having the property fenced in was great to let the dogs roam without worries. The two living areas worked great for our situation. Only issue we found was the lighting on the deck was poor making barbecuing after sunset a challenge.

The Captain's Quarters was great! My family and I enjoyed the 2 separate levels. It made it easy to find a quiet place to rest. We especially enjoyed the deck. Watching the thunder storms across the sky was a highlight. Great water pressure for our showers was greatly appreciated. We found it clean and restful - all a plus for our family visit.

Awesome place having 2 floors with kitchens, living area bath and bedrooms was great. only problem was steps made it difficult to go up and down. However therewere several entryway with fewer steps.

Great weekend at the lake!

The property is beautiful, well stocked and extremely comfortable. We truly enjoyed our stay and found the location easy to access, the totally fenced yard felt very private, neighborhood was quiet (other than the obligatory fireworks on July 4th) and we appreciated being able to bring our dog along on the trip. Definitely recommend this host and property, and hope to be able to stay here again in the future.

Captain's quarters

The stay was beautiful, and the house was very comfortable. My only complaint is trying to message back and forth with Vrbo. I found it confusing and tedious. The host was great with this issue and texted my phone number, which gave me instant results. Nice man!!

Lake/Boat trip

Enjoyed our stay. Dogs loved the big,fenced yard. Pulling our pontoon boat in and out of the property was a little tight, but we got it done and had four full days of boating fun.

Great view

With a grand view of Elephant Butte Lake, a big fenced in yard for my dogs, and a few minutes from trails around the lake, this house was a welcome winter respite.

The pictures do not do this home justice. It is spacious and lovely. The extra perks (dog kennel & water bowl, extra tables, outdoor chairs and more) made it that much better. Look forward to staying here again.

So blessed to find this gem!

Originally we were poised to stay at a home in Truth or Consequences. The plan was to go there and enjoy the hot springs.?However, my wife was also wanted to explore Elephant Butte Lake because she was interested in doing some fishing there in the future. So I did a search and found the Captain’s Quarters. We are so happy we did! We had a wonderful view of the lake every morning as we had our coffees and watched the sunrise. It’s close to town, so we could go to the art galleries, museums, and other local attractions. We also were able to explore the lake and the ranger there gave us lots of info! Our place was clean and had all the amenities we needed. Our last day there we stayed in and had a relaxing time there. Randall was quick to respond to our texts and is one of the nicest hosts ever. We highly recommend this place!

The state was good, but the my sister pretty much clean the all the floors and kill the spiders
