Great Stay on Complete First Floor of House
This was our second visit to this property. Our first stay was booked with almost no notice and went great, and this time we booked a few weeks in advance and the house was really well prepared and ready for us with noticeable improvements. Our first stay occurred in July, and the air conditioning got a workout and was quite effective. This time, we stayed in late December, and we got to use the heat, which also worked fine and was under our control for our floor. Parking is on the house's driveway with conveniently little distance to travel from the spot to the front door. The neighborhood was very quiet with minimal traffic, at least during the holiday season. The host thinks of his guests and included bathroom items like sufficient toilet paper, plenty of towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, and more. The kitchen was similarly stocked with plenty of helpful items. Excellent WiFi. There is a laundry area in the basement which is a little uncomfortable to access, as there is a stairway involved which may not suit those less spry, especially while carrying clothes, but our using it was a bonus, as I don't think laundry machine access was promised in the listing anyway. There is a dog who lives with the owner on the second floor, and while the dog is quiet, as she never barks, we could sometimes hear some scratching from above which I assume was from her walking and an occasional moan made when I suspect she was a little lonely, which was actually cute. We intend to stay again.
