Enjoy semi rural Alaska right at the city's door step. This is a chalet style 2 story with totally refurbished kitchen and bath cabinets, shower and deep soaker tub. Large smart flat screen - all you need is a Roku. Cable TV available through your Roku or Firestik. Large picture windows to enjoy the outdoors.
Open living area with leather reclining furniture with some Alaskan eclectic decor. Modern kitchen. Explore around several lakes within blocks. 10 minutes away to Palmer and Wasilla shopping, restaurants as well as to Mat Su Hospital. Medical Specialists and imaging centers only 15 minutes away. While at the same location you can watch the small super cub planes float in of an evening and visit the float plane lake just 6 blocks away. Many nearby views of the Matanuska River Valley as well as hiking opportunities in Hatcher Pass, the Butte, Jim Creek and the Knik Glacier for short outings. Fantastic blueberry, cranberry picking are 30 minutes away as well as viewing of the Hatcher Pass Little Susitna mountain stream and old Independence Mine. View the Matanuska Glacier after dining at the Sheep Mountain Lodge one hour away. Heated pool at the High Schools 10 minutes away. Check out local vendors at the Palmer Friday afternoon market. Alaska State Fair ground is nearby. Wintertime cross country skiing is 30 min away in Chugiak, and Hatcher Pass, 90 min to Sheep Mtn.
