Cozy centrally located apartment in Reykjavik

Our apartment is centrally located in the popular part of Reykjavik, it's only 7km drive to Reykjavik city centre.
Grocery store, gas station, restaurants ( Mathöll höfða and more ) are It's also within walking distance, from the house you can walk to popular walking paths in beautiful nature in Elliðaárdalur.
We have private parking on our property, it's easy to drive outside of Reykjavik from the house, golden circle, south coast etc.
It's 40min away from the Keflavik airport without traffic.

Our apartment is in the basement, part of a bigger house. You enter the apartment via private entrance behind the building ( see picture ). The kitchen is fully loaded, with coffee machine and tea. We have one big bedroom with King size bed, extra single bed can be provided. The main bedroom can also be changed to 3 single beds. In the hallway we have bunk bed. In the living room we have 50"TV with apple tv.

We can provide baby crib and high chair for your children.

We provide linen, towels and soap etc.

It's a very nice apartment in a nice and quiet neighbourhood.

We manage over 100 properties here in Iceland, most of them in Reykjavik area and also few outside of Reykjavik. Please let us know if you would like to split your stay, some nights in Reykjavik and some outside of Reykjavik. We also offer long term renting.

Lovely apartment, close to the city and accessible. Host was helpful and great communication. We were able to have our rental vehicle onsite and had access to washer and dryer, which was super helpful as this was the last part of our trip. Would stay here again for sure!

Great location and great communication with host

We booked viewing the photos on the Internet. We wanted a place to do some light cooking and go see places using this as the base for a couple of days. So mostly for coming back to a shower and sleeping. The checkin process was great. After I couldn’t figure out the Lock box containing the keys Kjartan came over personally to help. The apartment as such is fine for the stay. The kitchen appliances had no power but Kjartan made a call to restore that immediately. The one disappointment was the bathroom. It has a stubborn musty smell and may have to do with poor ventilation. The shower design is very poor with a lot of escape opportunities for the water. We just couldn’t keep the water in the shower from spilling out. The shower curtain needs to be replaced. It was old and smelly. Once the bathroom is fixed, this will qualify as a great rental. It is in the basement with access from the outside.

Very cozy

The apartment was very comfortable and quite cozy. It was really nice that you could see northern lights from just outside the door and there was the option to watch Netflix ect. The next bus station was also only 5 minutes away and the way to get across the main road as well. We arrived quite late in the evening and had a question and still got someone friendly on the phone so all in all very amazing.

Perfect staying in a big appartement!

We had a perfect staying in this big appartement. The owner is verry friendly and helpfull. Even after our booking we asked if we could add one person extra to stay in the appartment, this was no problem. Its central located, aprox. 10min from the city center. Good staying and i would go there again for sure when i visit reykjavik!

Nice Apartment in very nice neighbourhood

We had a wonderful stay at this very nice and good equipped apartment. There is no bathroom window so it is a good idea to turn the fan on every once in a while or it starts smelling abit in there ( maybe the sulfur water?) And since the second fridge is not being used and the door was closed it smelled quite a bit when we opened it. So we just kept it closed and the problem was solved. One big fridge is definetly enough : ). Other than that everything was just fine i we can teally recommend the place!
