As the longest-serving member of the "Gîtes de France" network in Saône-et-Loire (certified since 1979!), Marie-Françoise welcomes you to an authentic, fully renovated and reimagined 19th-century farmhouse, nestled in a residential hamlet perched on a sunny hillside overlooking the historic heart of the village, just a stone's throw away. Cersot, a typical small town of the Côte Chalonnaise region, is made up of several scattered hamlets, nestled in the verdant Guye Valley, within a protected ZNIEFF area renowned for its rich flora and fauna. The area boasts a magnificent rolling countryside, blending agriculture and viticulture with unspoiled nature (perfect for exploring the surrounding area on relaxing walks or mountain bike rides), a succession of bucolic vineyard slopes, vast meadows, wooded hills, ponds and rivers, and beautiful wild forests. A spacious and comfortable gîte. Spacious rooms. Warm country charm with contemporary touches blended with the unique character of a historic home (preserving rich original features: molded doors and frames, built-in cupboards, fireplace mantel, etc.). A slightly vintage feel (including a superb 1950s floor in the kitchen), in the spirit of a welcoming family home. Pleasant enclosed garden (300m²), surrounded by historic stone walls, includes the owners' vegetable garden (they are discreet and rarely tend it; fresh seasonal vegetables are available for picking) with a shaded garden lounge area under a beautiful acacia tree. Composition: Gîte adjoining the owners' residence (completely independent and private). Gas central heating. Wi-Fi. Raised ground floor (5 steps): kitchen, living/dining room (double sofa bed 140x190cm), 2 bedrooms (one with a double bed 140x190cm / the other with two single beds 90x190cm and a double bed 140x190cm), shower room, separate WC. Shared enclosed garden (300m²). Private parking and bicycle storage. Shops, including supermarkets, 7 km away. Authentic traditional farmhouse dating from the 19th century, fully renovated - with a pleasant enclosed garden of 300m² - located in the heart of the gentle, rolling wine-growing countryside of the Chalonnaise region, within a residential hamlet, 7 km from the charming market town of Buxy (numerous amenities including a supermarket). Bucolic landscaped surroundings, blending agriculture and viticulture with unspoiled nature, nestled in the verdant Guye valley (partly protected as a "Natura 2000 Zone" & "ZNIEFF" for its rich ecosystems), bordering the sublime Vaux valley ("the little Switzerland of Chalonnaise"), at the crossroads of the Côtes Chalonnaises and Haut-Mâconnais vineyards. An exceptionally privileged location on the GR7 & GR76 long-distance hiking trails (at the junction of the two routes), the "Route des Grands Vins" (which extends into the renowned "Route des Grands Crus" through the legendary wine villages of Puligny-Montrachet, Pommard, Meursault, etc.), the Romanesque church circuit, a marked "green walk" footpath (a very extensive network of similar hiking trails, winding between vineyards and unspoiled nature, to be explored on foot or by mountain bike), 7 km from the "Grande Boucle de Bourgogne du Sud" Green Way connected to the "Cycloroute71" (Saône-et-Loire cycling route), and 8 km from a signposted cycle route serving the Canal du Centre Green Way (a waterway also ideal for relaxing boat trips / river marina 23 km away) adjacent to the EuroVelo 6 cycle route.
