Large authentic 3-story log cabin adjacent to lake. Up to 14 guests.

Guest will enjoy this beautiful designed three-story, graceful ā€“ yet - rustic cabin in Mentone. The original owner (Tommy Milham) designed the cabin with a uniquely and expertly blended range of sawmilled hardwoods: wormy maple, poplar, chestnut, walnut, red oak, hard pine, cedar and hickory. The cabin sits on a 3-acre lake that was built from the sale of a ring given to Tommy by Elvis Presley in 1976.
Enjoy the serene sound of water flowing from the spring-fed and stocked (bring your own fishing pole) lake to the stone spillway/waterfall while playing outdoor ping pong, horseshoes, canoeing/kayaking or sitting around the large smokeless fire pit.

Beulah (means a slice of Heaven) is the perfect retreat for families or other gatherings of up to 14 guests. Indoor activities include air hockey, fooshball and games.

The cabin features four bedrooms/3 full bathrooms and a private loft sleeping area. The large master bedroom/bathroom is on the top floor. It is furnished with a king-sized bed. The adjacent loft has 2 custom made bunk beds. The main floor has two bedrooms/1 bathroom. The first bedroom has 1 cedar queen bed. The second bedroom has 2 queen beds. The ground floor has 1 king bedroom with a bathroom. The ground floor is a walkout basement.
There are two living spaces:
ā€¢ The grand living space features a majestic gas fireplace framed in gorgeous stone and is open to a large kitchen/dining area. There is a 50" Roku smart TV, a comfortable sectional sofa, along with a custom made cedar bench for additional seating. It opens to a large front porch deck with porch swings to enjoy a spectacular view of the lakeā€¦enjoy morning coffee or a nice sunset.
ā€¢ The ground floor living space features a gorgeous stone gas fireplace, sofa and chair, along with a 43" Roku smart tv. It is adjacent to the game room and laundry room. This space opens into a ground floor patio that is very spacious. The patio includes a gas grill and a Blackstone griddle, two picnic tables, an outdoor ping pong table and sitting area. The fire pit is near the lake and has comfortable seating.

The kitchen was very well stocked, the bedrooms were beautifully decorated and the outdoor space was amazing, including a fire pit by the little lake on the property. I would not change a thing.

Wonderful Winter Stay

Our entire family celebrated an early Christmas at Beulah last weekend. We had a wonderful time at your lovely cabin! The kitchen was so easy to cook in, and the table was large enough to accommodate all of us. The beds were so comfortable as well. We had some really cold weather, so we enjoyed the fireplace and the beautiful leather sectional in the living room.

Cozy Company Christmas

We had the best getaway with our coworkers at this property. We cooked in one night and made a big breakfast too. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could have needed plus some. I loved the Christmas decor. It was cozy and tastefully done! It was perfect for our group and check out was a breeze. I would definitely rent this cabin again. This was a sweet family Thanksgiving with a place for everyone!

The property was perfectly cozy for a cold Thanksgiving. The kitchen was well-stocked for all of our cooking and food prep and the table held us all comfortably. One end of the table had a group doing a puzzle and the other end was a game of dominoes. ...made tons of sweet memories and even enjoyed the pond for a quick minute...brrrr!

Amazing Place

We had a lot of family come into town for my in-law's 50th anniversary celebration and some of us stayed in Beulah and we also had the meals and the celebration dinner in the Beulah dining room and kitchen. The house is really nice and the rooms and beds are super comfortable. The pond is a lot of fun to canoe on and the fall weather was an added bonus. Our family comes to Mentone often and we always enjoy ourselves an Beulah ranks at the top of our experiences of anywhere we've stayed. Thank you!

Peaceful little lake and close to state park

The location is about as close as possible to the state park and the grounds of the cabin are nice for a family getaway. The downstairs lair is comfy, and the kitchen table is large enough to accommodate a sizable group.

Although other cabins around, it was very peaceful and quiet. The cabin was clean and the kitchen very well stocked. The outside space was great and large for a group. We appreciated the large dining table, our whole group could eat together.

Perfect Spring Getaway!

Laura is an excellent hostess, and did a wonderful job communicating with us about the property. Upon arrival, we were delighted to see how clean, well-kept, and thoughtfully stocked the cabin was. The property was very spacious, and we all found cozy places to call home for a few days. This was our dogā€™s first trip away from home, and she enjoyed herself, too! The beds are all very comfortable and all the rooms featured designer touches that we were impressed by. The coffee bar was above and beyond my expectations and was very appreciated. We enjoyed quiet time sitting on the porch and walks around the neighborhood, appreciating the water view. I would recommend Beulah to everyone!

Exceeded our expectations!

This property/rental exceeded our expectations in all aspects. The property was a very nice and spacious home, very roomy, very clean, and extremely well equipped for our needs. Everything you need from linens and towels to kitchen items. They have it all covered! The hosts were very good to work with, very attentive to details most would not do for the customer. Great location and easy to find. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking to have a great meeting spot to entertain and be with friends and family. You will not be disappointed!! Six stars out of 5 easily!

Other than a couple of beds that mafe our backs hurt, everything was excellent. The house has the most well stocked kitchen I've ever seen in a rental. There was plenty of room for everyone.

Family Christmas Retreat

My family stayed the week of Christmas at this beautiful cabin. We were extremely pleased with our entire stay from start to finish. When the description says this cabin is well stocked, itā€™s no exaggeration. They had everything we needed and more. Laura responded very promptly with any questions we had. We were a family of 10 and this cabin was perfect for us. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at Beula. The house sits on a beautiful property overlooking a 3 acre lake. Two important things to me are cleanliness and comfortable beds. This place had both!

Perfect Getaway for Family

Beulah was PERFECT for our family of 6 to gather and do an early Christmas with our adult children. Great setting, excellent layout with bedrooms on 3 different floors to allow privacy, excellent kitchen for group meals, and it all came decorated for Christmas!

Family reunion

Family from 6 states joined us in Mentone for a wonderful 5 night stay in a roomy, well maintained property. Lake view was lovely. We found hiking nearby and ping pong games on the property. Beds were comfortable and all was super cleanā€¦ even the barbecue grill. Highly recommend for reunion of family and friends.

Jeff & Laura are your hosts/home owners. Jeff has been visiting Mentone since his childhood and introduced it to Laura when they were first married. After enjoying many family reunions and stays at DeSoto Park, they decided to purchase their own cabins and share with others the beauty of Mentone. In addition to Beulah, the Nobles own Breathless, located on the north end of Mentone on the brow and Forever, located just across the state line on 89N into Georgia on the brow.

You will decompress the minute you arrive at Beulah and see the cabin/lake/fire pit. The sound of the water flowing through the spillway is relaxing and provides a sense of calm. The interior decor is comfortable with new mattresses and bedding/linens.

Beulah has things to do inside and out. It is one of the few cabins with foosball, aind air hockey inside and outdoor ping pong, along with a kayak and canoe. Plenty for room for a football game with friends and family.
