Another great yearly visit

We come to camp and canoe here each year, Rose is an amazing host! Love the frogs and horses. There are two professional tents already pitched and a couple kayaks and one canoe, and a propane bbq. All you need is your personal stuff, some food to grill and you can have a great couple nights out camping easy mode.

Rose's Glamping

Rose was very accommodating and helped us seamlessly move to a trailer , rather than a tent, due to Tropical storm Debby. our 2nd day, rain free, we easily moved into our tent and enjoyed the pond and kayaking. Ouer tent was set up with a full size bed and a single cot and was great for us. We also barbecued and had fire wood to use for our fire pit. Late night we had a fire and sat and enjoyed the stars and frogs chirping! The place is peaceful. WE loved Arrowhead Ranch and cant wait to visit again!

If your interested in the outdoors well then this is a place you want to visit for sure!!

If you like camping in the beautiful outdoors, really cool welcoming people, a very interesting but beautiful town, and if you're lucky like we were. They were having a birthday party at one of their local taverns they had a band and everyone was just having a great time it was just such a pleasant experience we will definitely be going back we didn't want to leave!! And can I mention the one guy's dog Sam he melted my heart I fell in love and did not want to leave him he was so sweet 💙!! The town is just now trying to rebuild due to a diversion in a hwy. which left the town of Parksville NY a ghost town yet so cool looking and just AWESOME!! Everyone was so nice not just we stayed all the towns people too they were some cool interesting people to meet...awesome time!! Highly recommend!! Thanks again Rose 🌹

Terrible

The place is nothing like described in the pictures!! NOTHING was the same other than the tent in the picture and even at that the picture must have been taken a long time ago. The view is an abandoned motel and an old pool. It would set the scene for a great horror movie. We pulled in looked and left! Also received a text from the renter saying she realized we left when she looked through our tent. Terrible experience

We are very sorry you were disappointed with our site. We try very hard to provide a quality experience. We have reworded the description to mention the restoration at the beginning, and added photos that do show the old hotels. Restoration of the buildings is imminent! (its not too close and wont be happening on weekends.) This site is too special to sit vacant, and we love to share it. We have been renting this site for several years and most of our guests enjoy the private lakefront, high end tents, kayaks, hammocks, fire pit, and bbq.

Very disgusting

I sent you my complaint. This was a disaster. I will never trust your agency again. As I stated I expect a full refund. We had to leave that very night at midnight. We hoped to stay so we did not have to drive 3 hours back to our home after a concert. The tent was full of mold, spiders over my head. The tent was where an abandon hotel was over looking a swamp full of bullfrogs that made it impossible to sleep to try and deal with such a disgusting property. I have a permanent medical condition walking to the out housing was a terrible challenging for me. The owner was not honest about what we would be in store for. However I hold you people the most responsible as it is your responsibility to vet these properties to make sure they are clean and well kept. I do except a refund.

We are so very sorry this customer had such a terrible experience!! We have been renting this site for 3 years and we have never had a response like this. We get many repeat customers who make enjoyable memories here. We feel the listing portrays the site accurately: the beautiful lakefront area of a hotel under restoration. It is a high end tent with real furniture. It is still a camping experience, and perhaps this customer was expecting a hotel. We did our best to present this glamping site, and are speechless as to why it was so bad. We did scrub and re-waterproof the tent after this customer told us of her experience.
