Why The Owner chose Los Frailes

The East Cape is one of the few unspoiled places on Earth, just a short flight from LAX.

Pristine beaches, clear blue sea and the best snorkeling and diving.

What makes this house unique

Unspoilt beach with hardly a soul to be seen. Go beachcombing, snorkelling and then a short drive to Cabo Pulmo for fresh fish for dinner. Go Snorkelling at Playa Los Arbolitos, Diving from Cabo Pulmo, or just sit on the patio and read a book with the sound of the waves for company.

Amazing vacation where the desert meets the sea

  • 5 of 5

This was our second trip to Cabo Pulmo (came for diving) and we fell in love. For this trip, we decided to stay a little further from town because we had explored the area of Los Frailes on our prior trip. We love nature and adventure so being on our own pristine and 'private' beach was fantastic! The east cape landscape is phenomenal. The sunrise and sunsets were amazing. The casita was very comfortable and well-appointed. Ruben, the caretaker is there on-site for anything you might need. The town is a short drive away...good restaurants serving fresh and delicious seafood (pretty much all we ate) and the people are very warm and friendly. If you want a relaxing beachfront vacation that feels like a real escape, this it it! We'll be back in the spring.

If beauty, seclusion, rug...

  • 5 of 5

If beauty, seclusion, ruggedness, and quiet is what you want, this is the place. This place ranks in my top 5 places I have stayed--EVER. We saw up to a dozen whales (we were there mid-March) on any given day. Cabo Pulmo Marine Park has an incredibly lovely coral reef that can be viewed just by walking into the water a bit. There are a few really good restaurants in Cabo Pulmo, and the people are wonderful. Don't forget to take your binoculars--we forgot ours but the owners loaned us theirs. Our time there was just what we needed, given our incredibly busy schedule back home. I intend to return to this "find"--a beautiful sea with desert mountains as a backdrop.

Car: necessary

The beaches of in front of Casita Luna Azul are spectacular with miles of white sand on the azure waters of the Sea of Cortez. Cabo Pulmo Marine Park is close by with great diving snorkeling and swimming with the big Whale Sharks. Enjoy the relaxing enjoyment of being away from it all with all that mother nature has to offer. The East Cape is a playground of activities from relaxing with a good book, sunrises, surf fishing, swimming, diving, snorkeling, surfing, paddle boarding, sun tanning, beach combing. The desert mountain back drop provides gorgeous views, desert sunsets, hiking trails and off road fun
