About the host
Hosted by Patrick and Erin O'Connor, Kelly and Jon McManus
Both of us have grown up in New England - traveling and exploring these amazing states - and experiencing so much that this area has to offer. We have family in Maine, love the beaches and historic charm, and the ease and friendliness of New England neighbors. We would like to share this part of Maine with you. We hope you stay in our home, using it as a "base camp" to explore not just Kennebunk beaches and restaurants, Kennebunkport shops and Dock square, but the surrounding coast and amazing areas such Kittery, Saco, and Portland!
Why they chose this property
Our historic Maine colonial built in 1837, is in-town Kennebunk, but at the same time off of main street, so you get the best of both worlds! 5 minutes of strolling down our wide sidewalk to all the restaurants, cafes, and shops in town Kennebunk, but off the beaten path of main street traffic! Want to head to the beach? The closest and our favorite is Parsons Beach - it's just 6 minutes by car or 15 minutes by bike! The other amazing Kennebunk beaches are only a few minutes further north! In Spring 2022, we just installed a new outdoor shower and backyard patio for you to enjoy! Worn out by your day's adventures? All our beds have new memory foam mattresses with hypoallergenic duvets and pillows! (Voted "Best Sleep in Maine" by my mother.)
