Lakefront Property - Minutes to Arc Encounter - Firepit & Dock

Welcome to the lake! Enjoy your coffee on the deck and take in the view. Spend your time soaking up the sun, swimming, fishing, grilling out, etc. Cap off your night by roasting marshmallows in the firepit or fire table. It is a short drive to The Ark Encounter. House sleeps 12 comfortably.

Note: This property is on a private gravel drive. The driveway is a bit steep. It is a concrete driveway as of 2024.

Loved the stay! Beautiful place! The only thing I would say that’s negative is two families drive minivans and they bottomed out - the frame was sitting on the driveway while going from the road to the house.

Large space with a great family room for kids to play in. There were sharp edges and lots of stairs so we had to keep an eye on the toddlers who had some falls and bumped heads. Owner was very responsive once our stay started.

Amazing Stay

This was the perfect spot for our family vacation to see the Ark and Creation museum. Great location. Beautiful home and beautiful view!

Best trip ever!

We enjoyed the lake house and neighbors are so nice! In the other reviews it talks about the drive way being way to steep but we came in at night and it did seem a little steep but when we woke up and saw all the other drive ways ours is just perfect! The place was nice and clean and we enjoyed watching the lightning storm from the deck!

Beautiful scenery

We enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room in the house and we enjoyed sitting on the deck with the fire pit and got good use out of the grill.

Perfect Family Getaway

We loved this property and the space. It had plenty of rooms, plenty of things to do and we loved the openness of the house and the beautiful view of the lake. It was close to bigger cities and the Ark Encounter/Creation Museum which is the reason for our trip! Would definitly stay here again!

Relaxing stay

3 night stay - very accommodating for 8 adults. Clean, relaxing and quiet. Would definitely recommend. The home is well equipped.

Great family gathering space!

House was great! Stocked with kitchen amenities for cooking, plenty of indoor and outdoor games and toys for kids! Only drawback was driveway, hard to navigate with 2-wheel drive. Overall, great stay!

Beautiful Lake Home

We had a wonderful stay at this lake house, the views were amazing! We even saw some wild deer and turkeys. We enjoyed kayaking and fishing off the dock. The house was well stocked and clean. We would definitely recommend this house!

Spring break trip

This property was fantastic. The road and driveway are slightly difficult to navigate but our group did just fine driving a mini van as well as a 12 passenger van. The home had everything we needed. The dock and kayaks were a hit with the kids!

Visiting the Ark

Very nice property with plenty of space for a large group. Enjoyed watching the deer and geese! The driveway was a bit of a challenge!

Great for all ages !

We loved this property. There were plenty of beds and places to spread out, since we were traveling with our kids and grandkids. I was apprehensive about the driveway after reading previous reviews, but it was fine to get up with our van (not four wheel drive ).

Quick family getaway

The house was super cute and well stocked, with beautiful views. The downside is that the property is on a hillside and is very steep. People with mobility impairment will have a hard time getting to the dock and back. Also the structure walls ceiling and floor are made of wood so noise travels through the house. The property is super close to the Ark Encounter and we enjoyed watching geese and ducks from the decks. Nearly every day when we left we saw deer and turkeys near the road.
