We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back. The house was beautiful, very clean, well-maintained, and exactly as pictured. Didier was a great host—friendly, responsive, and accommodating.A few things future guests may find helpful to know:The house provided one bath towel and beach towel per person, but no washcloths. Two per person, would have been nice since we were there a week.We recommend bringing your own washcloths and shower sponges/loofahs if you use them regularly.The beds had sheets but no blankets. The bedrooms stayed cool with the AC, so a light blanket would have been nice as well.Check the laundry room for reusable shopping bags before heading to the grocery store—we didn't find them until a few days into our trip.We found Monoprix to have a better selection than U Save.During our stay, there was a significant amount of sargassum seaweed, making the nearby beach essentially unusable. This is a natural occurrence and completely outside the host's control. Fortunately, there are many great alternatives nearby. We enjoyed beaches in Sainte-Anne, spent a day at Club Med with a day pass, visited Plage de la Perle, and also went on a catamaran excursion to Marie-Galante.The items mentioned above were minor and didn't affect our enjoyment of the trip. Overall, this was a fantastic vacation, and the property was a great home base for exploring Guadeloupe. We would happily stay here again.
