We really enjoyed our stay, the cottage is beautiful from the front room to the bathroom. Easy check in and check out. Kitchen fully equipped with breakfat included. It was great! We will be back.

This is it!

We booked an overnight stay here both going and returning from a road trip to Alabama. We were delighted with the charm and decor. If we ever come through Little Rock again and need a place to stay… this is it.

Cute and sweet

This was a great spot! The space was adorable and there was a great outdoor area to sit and enjoy the crisp morning air! We stayed with our dog and it was perfect! There is a little garden area where he could relax with us off the leash, which was the best. The host was amazing and very friendly.i would stay here again!

My Stay at May’s Cottage

I stayed for one night at this beautiful and well-appointed cottage. It is part of a real bed and breakfast and includes a living area with bed, a kitchen/dining room, and a bathroom area complete with a jacuzzi bathtub. I enjoyed my short stay!

Pups with Mom and Dad

The cottage set up is very nice, beautiful, welcoming grounds. Everything was very clean, inviting, and very comfortable. We were in Little Rock for a multi day medical check up at UAMS and the stay at Rosemount made everything much better, especially since we could have our two pups with us. The location was perfect, close to the hospital, great restaurants, dog parks, grocery stores, everything we needed!

AWESOME STAY

What a delight! We stayed Mays Cottage which was beautifully furnished in period decor. We had a little fenced in yard space perfect for the dogs and management was highly responsive to any concerns. HIGHLY Recommend!

We were impressed with May’s cottage! It was a perfect, peaceful stop on our way to Massachusetts. Very clean and inviting. The owner provided everything we needed as well as communicated with us frequently. I highly recommend this little gem!

Cozy Cottage

While not a modern property, May's Cottage worked great for us. It was comfortable, with room to spread out. The breakfast provided was a particularly nice touch, which made things really easy. On nice days, the outdoor space is relatively private and comfortable. The location is convenient to downtown Little Rock, yet feels like a neighborhood. Communication was easy and helpful.

Charming Stay

The outdoor area was lush and green with several seating areas. I would recommend bringing a a citronella candle to better enjoy the outdoor experience. The accommodations were charming and just as depicted in the listing. Will try to return in the fall.

Hi, Holly - thank you for writing the review. I am happy you enjoyed May's Garden Cottage. I am a bit puzzled by your concern of people seeing in. In order to see into the cottage from the sky light, upstairs guests would have to crawl over a fairly high wooden banister, walk across the roof and be poised over the sky light located in the kitchen. I regret you felt uncomfortable but I really think you were safe from peepers.

Beautiful! Just like the description!

This place was dreamy. I stayed with my dog and it was so accommodating. It had a fenced yard with gorgeous plants and outdoor seating. Inside was a cozy bed and kitchen with everything you needed. The bathroom even had a Jacuzzi tub! The breakfast was great too. Each day the food would be left in the fridge so I could cook it just how I like.This place was so close to Soma and was walking distance to several stores, restaurants, and museums. Highly recommend to anyone!

A Day at May's.

Loved it. Very cozy and comfortable. Should've done more research on the area since never been there before. A street map in the cottage would be wonderful. However, we would stay there again if ever in the area and try the waffles and sausage. It was a nice pastry selection for breakfast. Thanks again S&D

Quaint and charming historic cottage

Like stepping back in time. Cozy and romantic decor. Immaculate. Private cottage tucked away at rear of old Victorian house. Quiet. Private, fenced courtyard with patio furniture and lighting for ambience; safe place for our small dog. Lots of lovely touches with breakfast delivered each morning! A memorable stay.

Sweetly decorated older home

This is a well loved home divided into separate rentals. It was clean and comfortable. Nice touches everywhere. Wish we could have used the outdoor space but it was too cold. This is not an upscale area but you can take a short drive to some nice shops and restaurants. Thank you for being dog friendly:)!

Susan, Thank you for the 5-Star review. I am delighted that you enjoyed the cottage and your stay at Rosemont. I regret you viewed our historic neighborhood as not being "upscale". You were in the Governor;s Mansion Historic District. The entire neighborhood, including Rosemont, is on the National Register of Historic Places. We are obviously an urban neighborhood but that is generally considered a significant part of its charm. SoMa (South on Main) is just 4 blocks from the cottages and the River Market is 5-7 minutes by car.

We spent six nights in May's Cottage. We loved it! The cottage is quaint and cozy. We liked having a cottage as it gave us flexibility with a full kitchen, sitting room off the kitchen, jet tub/shower combo, and living room/bedroom. The gated outside area was comfortable and relaxing. The innkeeper was quick to reply to my questions. The breakfasts were great with a variety to choose from. The location was in a convenient area, close to downtown and other area attractions. I highly recommend staying here!

After a demanding career in advertising, I moved home to Little Rock from Dallas, settled in the city's incredible historic neighborhood where I grew up and began Act III of my life ... so far my favorite. I love being a cottage innkeeper, working from my own 1880s farmhouse surrounded by peace , beauty and wonderful guests who seem to enjoy my updated, vintage cottages.

Why they chose this property

Rosemont is a farmhouse built in 1880 still retaining much of the original construction. I moved here from a career in Dallas advertising with the desire to restore this lovely historic house and turn it into my home and an inn. After 18 years of traditional innkeeping, I converted the space to private cottages. I love everything about my life in the house, the neighborhood and my cottages.

What makes this property unique

Private entrance to each cottage through the common garden with off-street parking behind the garden steps away from your cottage. Each cottage has either a gated balcony or fenced & gated private garden. Privacy, seclusion and casual luxury are the hallmarks of Rosemont hospitality.
