Review

Property was nice, however the pool was very merky and couldn't be used for 4 days (half of our stay). We could not see the bottom of the pool because of the water quality. More towels and bed clothes should be provided mid week.

Thanks for your reply. We apologize for the pool. We gave info to the poolman to improve the water quality. Unfortunately this takes its time. In a 1 week booking there is no change of bed linen, but a change of towels.

My group of 8 stayed here for a week. It was perfect! Walking distance to restaurants, shopping, marina etc. The house is spacious and has a gorgeous private cove, we swam for hours each day in our Cala. The A/C worked great. The communication with the booking company was great. They are very friendly and responsive. The pool was also cleaned a few times while we were there. Only complaint was one of the showers had a clogged drain. Overall this place is wonderful for a vacation in Cala D’Or! Highly recommend!

Sauberkeit und Kakerlaken

Wir sind Samstags angekommen und haben unsere Villa nicht ausreichend gereinigt vorgefunden. Boden, Esstisch und Küche war nicht gereinigt. Spülmaschinenklappe war defekt und wurde während der gesamten 14 Tage nicht repariert. Das Untergeschoss roch muffig, so als wäre das Haus einmal feucht gewesen, die Aussenanlagen war schön aber bedingt durch die Nadelbäume immer verdreckt, zweimal war der Service da, der gefegt hat. Ameisen waren im Haus und das schlimmste waren die täglichen KAKERLAKEN in der Dusche unserer Kinder. Dort wurden lediglich Fallen aufgestellt, die aber nichts nutzten. Auf eine Preisnachlass für die 14 Tage wurde seitens des Eigentümers nicht reagiert. Dieses Haus ist nicht weiter zu empfehlen, da es einen runter gekommenen Eindruck machte. Es ist keineswegs gerechtfertigt für die 14 Tage vom 01.07.-15.07. über 19.000€ zu verlangen !!!! Der Eigentümer sollte besser einmal Geld für Renovierungen investieren. Bei Villen in direkter Nachbarschaft kam jeden Tag jemand, der den Pool und die Aussen-Flächen gereinigt hat. Diese Haus ist keinesfalls zu empfehlen!!! Mit freundlichen Grüssen René Holzberg

Stunning views, beautiful villa

We stayed at the villa for a week in Oct-17 to celebrate my parents golden wedding anniversary. The villa was just perfect, spotlessly clean and so much room. Proper beds as well, so many times you stay in a holiday villa and the beds are just like camp beds - not here! Lovely big beds with super thick mattresses. The villa is in very close proximity to plenty of bars and restaurants and some small supermarkets. If I was being hyper critical then I am not sure how comfortable I would feel if I had stayed at the villa with small children as there are lots of steps everywhere and there is direct access to the sea. There are secure gates around the pool though and was a lovely area so there really would be no need for small children to go to the back of the villa where the sea access is. Another minor point is that it would be really handy to have a welcome pack at the villa for arrival - water, milk and some bread, just to tie you over until you can get to the supermarket. Would absolutely stay here again and looking forward to being able to book it again.
