Modern, cosy and DOG FRIENDLY bungalow which will sleep up to 5 people.

Private bungalow in an unspoilt position between Sutton on Sea and Trusthorpe and just 50 metres from miles and miles of promenade and dog friendly (all year) and blue flag beach

2 bedrooms, lounge / diner kitchen, bathroom, all double glazed and centrally heated throughout. Free Wi-Fi. Multiple dogs welcome FREE

Master bedroom: Double bed, wardrobes, cupboards and storage. 22" television.

Second bedroom: 1 single bed.

Bathroom with shower and full size bath, sink with storage and W.C. and non-slip flooring.

Lounge with wall mounted 32" Smart TV with HD Freeview and DVD player with french doors opening to garden with seating area. Corner sofa which converts simply to a double bed for lounging and / or sleeping.

Modern kitchen with electric oven and hob, fridge / freezer, microwave, 4 slice toaster, kettle, pots and pans, crockery and cutlery.

Kitchen/dining area with table and chairs, door opening onto a secure fully enclosed private rear garden with garden furniture and adjacent grassed field. Have breakfast or a drink in the sun whilst listening to the sea.

Secure storage facility with enough space for prams, wheelchairs etc. Space and electric to charge a mobility scooter. Washing Machine.

Paved area running the full width of the bungalow.

Private off road parking.

Transport links including train, bus (bus stops a few meters away, regular service inland and to different coastal towns) also seasonal road and beach trains!

Great for cyclists, walkers, anglers, dogs, children, senior generations, less abled - everywhere is so flat.

Prams / pushchairs, mobility scooters can all access the beach and promenade via several ramped access points - one is 100m away. Alternatively use the steps at the rear of the bungalow onto the promenade and beach only 100 meters away.

Prices include Wi-Fi central heating and electricity with ample supply of duvets and pillows. You are fully self-catering and supply your own towels along with toiletries, food etc. Many guests prefer to bring their own bed linen / covers therefore you receive a discounted price whereby we supply duvets, pillows etc., and guests bring covers. We are happy to make beds for your arrival using our quality linen, if you prefer for £25 per bed (£15 single) - you have the choice.

We would recommend this bungalow will be comfortable for a maximum of three adults plus children.

Check in and out was easy. Very clean and well equipped. Three minutes walk to beach and under 10 minutes walk to local shops. Five minute drive to Mablethorpe and bus stop directly outside for Mablethorpe/Skegness.The owner was easily contactable and helpful.

Perfect location

Great little bungalow for myself, my husband, daughter and mother. Great location at Sutton on sea, close enough to walk into village and the beach with no noise. Thank you we would definitely come back!

Flooring and smell

Two negatives , the flooring in the living area is definitely not conducive for dogs, they slip and slide on the service.Has this is a dog friendly bungalow not good. Also there was a terrible smell in the property, think it's properbley because first time opened this year.It took the 3 days before it disappeared. Otherwise very nice clean bungalow ,would go again.

Very disappointing.

The immediate area looks like a squatters camp with run down buildings and skips next door. It looks as though the whole area is under alteration but not in a good way.The bungalow itself was disappointing even though there was only two of us plus a small dog staying there. Much too small for my liking as the furniture in both bedrooms allowed for little room to get about. Shrubbery was overgrown in the front and we had to squeeze in and out of our car. Noisy main road just outside with little chance of a lie in. Only rental we have ever stayed in, and there has been many over the years, that don't supply bedding and towels. Sutton on Sea centre was pleasant and Mablethorpe beach is great if you have a dog. Not happy overall so we came home early.

Last minute break.

The bungalow was very clean everything you might need was in it. Smaller than I’m used to and not really suitable for anyone with walking problems ,but not there fault .Very near to everything and plenty of places to go.

Great location, lovely private property

In a quiet area very close to the beach, but only 5 minutes from busy Mablethorpe so best of both worlds. Everything you need. Very comfortable bed and quality bedding. The back garden is very private, both gardens back and front are a little wild looking and attracted an abundance of wildlife which was interesting to watch. The outside storage area was great and ideal for wheelchair and pushchair storage, would definitely stay again

Great stay with helpful host

Property was exactly as described and the location was fantastic with access to miles of beautiful beach immediately behind the property. The beach has both dog friendly and none dog sections and our Labrador loved it. The property was immaculately cleaned although a little on the small side, but we knew this when booking. The host was friendly and very helpful especially regarding check out times which made our last day even more enjoyable. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Lovely location

Bungalow was very clean and welcoming. Very well equipped kitchen with everything you’d need. Close to the beach being a short walk away. I did struggle getting to the sea front as there’s steps to gain access and I struggle with walking too far due to knee surgery. Next time will hire a mobility scooter. Unfortunately our dog didn’t like the flooring but a couple of strategicly placed mats helped. We’ve also discovered he doesn’t like the beach lol. But plenty of seafront walkway to amble along. Locals very friendly. Beautiful beach. Shops and restaurants close by. Lovely break away.

Compact Bungalow a stone's throw from the Beach

Compact accommodation with a well equipped kitchen area. Bifold and sliding internal doors mean no space is wasted. Easy parking, next to a main road but not noisy. Nice and cosy in the winter once the heating has come on. Bring your own bedding default policy suited us and anyone with allegy worries.

We got our first property, this bungalow in Sutton on Sea in 2016. It proved to be very popular with guests, friends and family that it wasn't often available for us to use.

We started looking around for another small bungalow for us in 2017 and, after taking a wrong turn, found a dream we didn't know we were looking for. 9 torrid months later we moved lock stock and barrel to the coast and have now 3 properties and a 5 caravan 'certificated location', all within 100 metres of the beach.

Why they chose this property

Breakwater Bungalow is just about as close to the beach as you can get along this coast. You can fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the waves lapping on to the beach. We have direct access on to the promenade and the sandy beach behind us is dog friendly all year.
