Situated in Latziana village, just 10,5km from Kissamos town and in a short driving distance from all amazing beaches of West Crete (Balos Lagoon, Elafonissi, Falassarna).
Velanis is a stone house built in 2019 with respect for the natural environment and with very high aesthetic. What makes our house special is the stylish design and decoration harmonized with the pure, untouched nature of the surroundings. It is ideally located at a 237m altitude, away from neighbors and noise, being the highest house of the settlement.
An open-plan house of 75sqm, smartly designed and furnished with one large, comfortable double bed, a wc with walk-in shower (fully renovated in 2022) and a large bathtub in the bedroom area. There is a fully equipped kitchen, cozy sitting area (sofa that easily turns into single bed) with flat screen TV and Netflix service, and a dining area that seats 6 people. The glass doors and windows provide light, cool summer breeze and uninterrupted crossing to the natural beauty.
The house is self-catering, private, and ideally sleeps 2 adults for the most comfort and privacy. A young child, though, can be accommodated using the sofa-bed or a baby cot if younger.
The true highlight of the house is its furnished terrace and external areas that offer a unique sense of freedom and invaluable privacy!

The house is fenced by a stone wall and the guests will have access to the whole property. No entry is allowed to storage areas and external areas which are in a lower level from the house. The areas will be indicated with "no entry" signs.

During evening or at night, it often gets chilly even during summer time, due to high altitude. You might need a jacket to enjoy your evenings and nights on the terrace or in the yard of the house.
There are some stairs around the property, with gates. It is advised not to leave children unattended.
When you decide to book with Velanis, please bear in mind that you will be living in nature. The Cicadas' melody and other sounds of nature, as well as small visitors will be a given!
