The property was wonderful for a family reunion, with features for adults and children of all ages. The kids and grandkids loved the rope swing, zip line, foosball ping pong and adjacent Fox Run Park. We all enjoyed the fire pit, game room with pool table and smart TV, games on the grass area, and roomy balcony seating with a view. And of course the relaxing soothing jacuzzi with powerful jets. The spacious house provided allows for group activities as well as alone time. We even had one member who conducted some business from what we called the hobbit room upstairs. There was prompt assistance for any issues that came up. The bed configuration on the website is not quite up to date; there are more beds but full size beds replace some queens.

We had an amazing family reunion at this property. The property is very large and felt fairly secluded. Yet it was only about a 7 minute drive to several grocery stores and any other store you might need. There were 22 of us and everyone had a place. There are beds for 25 people. Plus I saw a crib in a closet. You can see from the pictures how many beds are in each room. It took some planning to get all the couples in their own space, but we used an air mattress for younger cousins to be together without having to share with older married ones. There's are so many neat spaces to spend time together (outdoor fire pit, balcony with seating, patio, pool table). The kitchen worked well for us. It is stocked with the basics. There's a gas barbeque on the lower level patio. Host was quick to respond to any questions or issues. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great Family Reunion Getaway

We had a fantastic family reunion. The home is beautiful and spacious. The outside grass area, fire pit, playhouse and rope swing were a hit! Great property to walk and explore. Across the street was fun - playground and turtles. I gave accuracy on listing a 3 because it was marketed as an 8 bedroom- it is not! There’s definitely enough sleeping spaces but 8 rooms should be 8 private rooms. We would have preferred 8 private spaces due to the size and various ages in our group.

Perfect

We stayed here for a family reunion with 18 months up to 93 years old. Could not have been better for every guest. We never even considered leaving the property. We were missing some ping pong paddles and with one text to the property manager they were delivered within the hour ! Beautiful and very private

Perfect mountain home

This house and location fit our group of 13 perfectly. The children especially enjoyed the zip line and rope swing outside as well as pool, chess, and board games inside. The house is spacious and had plenty of towels and kitchen supplies. A couple minor things we called the property manager about were taken care of quickly and with a smile. If we ever get back to this area, we would love to stay again!

Colorado family vacation

The property was fabulous for my grandkids (7 kids 7 years and under). They loved the rope swing, playhouse and monkey bars. The backyard fire pit was great in the evenings. We enjoyed the chess board embedded in the table, many games were played. We’ve talked about enjoying this house again on a future trip.

An incredible destination!

My friends and I recently did a weekend getaway here, and we are already talking about when we will visit again because our stay was FANTASTIC. If you are looking for a place to unplug, relax, and/or have fun, look no further. The location: The location of this place has the best of both worlds: remote, yet convenient. While the super market and some restaurants are less than 10 minutes away, the location feels rural. The quietness, fresh air, and routine breezes make the environment very refreshing. A huge bonus for my group was the proximity of Fox Run Regional Park - a number of us got our early morning hikes/walks/runs here.The home: First, there was plenty of parking (great for larger groups). Second, the kitchen was top notch: well stocked, enormous (great for cooking large meals for a large group), and high quality appliances. Third, the rooms were well furnished (nice furniture, good curtains, very comfortable linens). Additionally, there was no shortage of activities in the home such as a billiards table, ping pong, fire pits, outdoor heaters on EVERY patio, a hot tub and much more. On that note, the views are gorgeous as well. Lastly, the property itself is gorgeous. There is lots of space to play outdoor games and get comfortable. You are not nestled between other properties and you feel like you have your own space.The host: 10/10 experience - expedient responses and very helpful with requests. In summary, this place is the complete package!!!

Amazing house for our extended family vacation

We had 11 of us for a week and had a wonderful stay. House is amazing and as advertised. All we needed to cook, est and relax. Close to town and family fun. Hosts were easy to work with and very helpful. Highly recommended.

USAFA Graduation Stay

Overall, our stay was awesome! The location of the home is one of the best features for getting to graduation events without traffic. The home nicely accommodates large families. The beds were comfortable. Although the types of beds didn’t match our adult children, there was plenty of space in the bedrooms to put air mattresses that we purchased. We appreciated the number of towels, extra pillows, and blankets for this reason. The large gathering areas were perfect for relaxing as a family. There is plenty of seating for meals and in the family rooms. The outdoor furniture was comfortable. We had many evenings around the gas fire on the back patio. We were able to grill and cook in a few days and found everything we needed. If you have young children, there is plenty of fun things to keep them busy: swings, rope swing, jungle gym, toys, and games. We enjoyed playing corn hole. There is a fire pit with wood provided if the weather conditions allow. David and Margo were easy to communicate with when we needed questions answered. I would highly recommend this home to create those special family memories.

The first time we visited this property, the car doors opened and we didn’t see our children for what seemed like hours. They ran to their hearts’ content exploring, and we knew this place was special. Vacationing on 5 acres feels like 400 acres with the park adjacent to the property.
