About this property

Spacious 1 BR Apartment located above a Salon.

Spacious 1 bedroom located in central Bismarck close to St. Alexius Hospital and 16th Street Park. The Kirkwood Mall is just a few minutes drive south.

Amenities include a 65" inch roku tv with Dish Network cable, netflix, hulu, etc. The tv sits on a new fireplace with a built in surround sound system. Furnishings include a new couch and love seat. Full dining and cookware set for your use. Queen size bed is located in the bedroom. It is a nice, fully furnished apartment.
The space
Much like an extended stay hotel at a fraction of the cost! Everything you need to cook and serve a meal with dining area for 4.

The living area has a new couch and loveseat with accent furniture and lamps. The electric, light changing fireplace has surround sound built in to amplify the 65" Roku Tv that sits on it.

The bedroom has a queen size bed, 32 inch tv and walkin closet.

The bathroom is recently remodeled with a fully tiled walk-in shower.

No Parties. No pets. No smoking. No using bleach on the towels to clean. Guest # must be accurately booked. No heavy traffic. Quiet time 10 PM - 6 AM. Owner lives on site.

Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Trash receptacles are under the treeline in the rear area of the west side of the building. The green trashcan next to the building on the west side is for RECYCLE items only.
There should be pods available to start the load of sheets and towels together. This helps us to keep our cleaning fees low and are thankful if you can start the laundry. Not a big deal if you don't.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
There is no booking on behalf of others without the consent of the host.
Parkiing is west alleyway (private) or in the street (public). Your preference
Use the trashcans along the west alley treeline or dumpster. Green trashcan near the side door is for RECYCLE only.

We were in town for a family event. It was nice to be so close and have more space than just a small hotel room to go back to. A little trouble with the code to get into the apartment when we first arrived but the host was able to fix that quickly.

Wonderful and comfortable stay. Apartment is very well furnished with large living room, 65” TV, dining room, deck off the dining/living room, spacious bedroom with comfortable bed. The kitchen is nicely organized with dishes, glasses, cooking utensils, cookware, small appliances. Washer and dryer work well. This is a great home-away-from-home! The apartment is located upstairs which is accessed by outside stairs.Exceptionally Nice!

I think the place was even better than you see in the photos. It was a great well- furnished place. It's pretty central to the area, so getting around was easy and quick. Excellent wifi. It is incredibly spacious, way bigger than I was expecting.

Excellent host!

I get five stars to the host of this property who was wonderful with communication and also quite compassionate with me in a difficult situation. I had not stayed in this area in Bismarck in the past, but it was easy to get to and accessible to many amenities. The stairs from the street to the apartment are a bit wobbly just FYI for future renters. I was not able to stay for the entirety of my booking, but would definitely consider staying here again in the future. It’s quite spacious and close to the university.

Better by Far Than Many Bismarck Hotels

What a great find! Our stay was in a centrally-located, industrial area of Bismarck in an apartment above the business owner's super cute salon. It does not have handicapped accessibility but we did not need/want that. The apartment is not fancy but clean and decorated tastefully. Though it has signs of wear, it is very spacious and has a kitchen, dining room, living room and bedroom with a walk-in closet as well as a bathroom. Even with the housekeeping charges, it was less expensive than many of the hotels in Bismarck with fewer amenities. Our host, Lisa, was very pleasant, even when I asked for help with the entry system (which should have been self-explanatory). My siblings, who were also in town, stayed in traditional motels and mostly had a much less satisfying experience. Would highly recommend this VRBO.

We read the reviews and thought this might be a place we would frequent as our daughter is now a student in Bismarck. We may try again as all the reviews were 5 star ratings and maybe this was just a bad week for the host. We found the apartment run down and dirty. There was an accumulation of long hair behind the bathroom door, rust stains on the outside door, broken and loose trim. The window air conditioners were not producing much cool air due to an abundance of dust in the filters, which we cleaned, The apartment was not inviting in the condition we found it and we had some difficulties communication with the host.
