Thanksgiving Retreat

This was a perfect location for us as it is nestled back in a quiet and friendly neighborhood. Lots of room and big yard as well. Nice and trendy decor, nothing worn. Glad we went!

Great family vacation

We had a 3 generation family vacation in the Ozarks. This house was perfect for us. The kids spent most of their time in the pool. There were plenty of supplies for our 5 night stay. Would stay here again.

Nice house for a group

We enjoyed our stay! Organized and well stocked. Pool was a hit with the kids! Proximity to grocery stores was great. House shows its age but overall clean and functional.

Family time

The property was great! It was extremely clean and very well stocked. The hosts were wonderful, providing us with a welcome treat and excellent communication. This was a home where the pictures didn't do it justice - it was even more beautiful in person. The home was so great, we didn't feel the need to go out and look for things to do- we were able to keep ourselves entertained the entire time. A summer vacation in the mountains was a perfect escape from the Texas heat. We look forward to returning!

Perfect getaway

This house and guest house are beautifully redone. Every thing was clean and we had everything we could possibly need. The guest house is adorable! And the pool and hot tub were very much enjoyed.

Wedding trip

We attended our daughters wedding in Mountain Home with other family members staying with us. The house did accommodate all of us; however we weren’t aware there was no downstairs bedroom which made sleeping arrangements difficult for our elderly family member. We made it work but next time we book a place, we will for sure ask that question. The house was beautiful and we enjoyed staying there. The only thing we couldn’t find was an iron, and maybe we just didn’t look close enough. Everything else was great!

Some of the best Mountain Home has to offer!

We have come to Mountain Home every year for over 30 years, we've stayed at many of the local resorts and the last 5 years we've tried many different short term rentals in the area. This was by far the most welcoming, clean home, with a great layout for large groups and accommodations for travelling with kids. The updates and decor were beautiful, modern and well thought through. The location is ideal set back in the woods so it feels quiet, private and rural with all the conveniences of town just 2 minutes away! Hosts were super responsive and accommodating. It absolutely felt like home, swinging on the front porch every morning and we can't wait to come back!

Mountain Home was home away from home!

We took a family vacation here and everyone had an amazing time. Our ages ranged from 6yrs old-70yrs old and it was perfect. We loved how the house was tucked back into the woods, but you were only a mile from town! The house was spacious and we loved all of the decor. Plenty of space for everyone to sleep and our parents loved the guest house. Our kids are already asking when we can come back! The pool was a huge hit bc it was so hot outside. So much dun was had by everyone!

My family and I went to this home over 4th of July week. I have nothing but GREAT things to say about the home and the owner. The home was very clean and had great amenities. We will definitely be back!!

Pool area is great and saved the day, decking and railing is in need of repairs. Home - not so much. Pictures hide a lot of issues. Overall, the place is not in great shape they need to reinvest some of their earnings into repairs, maintenance and pest control. The houses are very buggy, we came away with a lot of bites.

Great home in quiet neighborhood.

This is a very nice property in a quiet neighborhood but still right in Mountain Home. There is plenty of room to get your alone time and plenty of room for your group evening cocktails. The kitchen is stocked well with plenty for cooking just bring your own spices etc. The guest house is a great feature also. The covered front porch is great for evenings when it's raining but you still want to be outside. Every night we heard the unique call of a barred owl somewhere close.

Bass Tournament Weekend

This property was absolutely perfect for our high school bass fishing team. There were plenty of beds and plenty of space for everyone to spread out. We had enough parking for 5 trucks pulling boat trailers and an additional 2 trucks. You feel like you're in the country even though you're barely outside the city. It was great!

Beautiful Bull Shoals area!!

Our stay was amazing! The VRBO property was very close in Mountain Home and adjacent to Lake Bull Shoals and Lake Norfork! Plenty of house room for all ages! We will make a return visit soon!

To provide some background about us- I was born and raised here in Mountain Home, AR and my husband is from West Plains, MO. We have traveled and moved around quite a bit over the years- some states including Missouri, Florida, and Utah! We have been blessed to have traveled across the country, operate our small businesses, and most importantly, meet so many amazing people and learn about their stories. Because our careers are heavily involved in the “people business”, we pride ourselves in going above and beyond to provide the best experience for you!
