Wilmington Village House near Mount Snow

A great family or friend getaway from the hustle and bustle, this Vermont home is for you! A walkable and convenient location highlights this sunny house with three bedrooms, spacious living room, a three-season sunroom, and an updated granite/stainless kitchen. The main bathroom features a standup shower and jetted tub. A second smaller bathroom is off the mudroom with a standup shower. Outside, the side yard has a fire pit and yard games.

Located on a well-plowed road near VT Routes 9 and 100 for easy access. Parking for 3-4 cars in the driveway. See "other notes" below for additional details.

The house is less than a 10 minute walk from Wilmington Village shopping and dining. Wilmington Village has some great dining spots like Dots, 19 South Main, La Casita, Alpenglow Bistro, and Village Roost. Just beyond the village are two fun breweries, Snow Republic Brewery in Dover and Beer Naked Pizza in Marlboro, which has breathtaking mountain views.

For the winter, the house is an easy 15 minute drive from Mount Snow ski resort and about 40 minutes from Stratton Mountain. Prospect Mountain, with cross country skiing, is also nearby. The Moover (a free bus to Mount Snow) picks up down the street.

In the summer and fall, enjoy easy access to some amazing hiking trails and to swimming areas at the Herriman Reservoir. Herriman Reservoir is a gem with grassy grilling areas, swimming spots, rentals for kayak, jet skis, and a tiki boat. Museums and galleries in North Adams and Williamstown are about 35 minutes away.

Other things to note
Sedans and non-4 wheel drive vehicles should park at the bottom of the driveway in the winter because the incline can be a bit slippery.

Please be careful walking around the outside of the house in winter because inclement weather conditions can quickly cause changes in on the walkway and driveway.

Great stay in Wilmington!

My family and I had a great stay! The place was as advertised, clean, all necessary amenities needed for a short weekend away. Great location, walking distance from the town center and restaurants. During our stay Matt was attentive and quickly responded to questions. Check in was easy. We enjoyed our stay and will look to book again in the future!

Ski Trip 2023

This place was the perfect set up for our family of 4. It’s in the ideal spot for the ski resorts and minutes away from restaurants and shops. We had everything we needed in the house and the property owner had cute little details to make it extra special. The house was clean with all the amenities that we needed for the week. Can’t wait to visit again!

New Years 2024

We truly enjoyed our stay in your rental over the New Years holiday. Our family of four found the location quite convenient and walked to different restaurants. The streets nearby were quiet and it was safe. The home was well lit in each room and had a great layout. The house was super clean and inviting with comfortable beds and plenty of space for our family (2 teens 14, 16). Lots of fun games and great books to check out as well. Having the two bathrooms was convenient after a day out on the ski slopes! The soaking tub was a bonus as was having the washer and dryer available. We would like to come check out Wilmington during the summer and would love to stay in your place again. Thank you!

Lovely, cozy winter getaway

We loved this little house. 3 bedrooms, 2 baths with showers and a big tub in one. Water was hot, good pressure, enjoyed showers and a soak in the big jacuzzi tub. Gas fireplace in living room kept us very comfortable, even with -20 temp outside! Host communication was great, also left bottles of water for our convenience as well as snacks and some quality food staples in the pantry! We enjoyed the games and trivia at the house. Quick drive to town with restaurants, grocery and pharmacy, 15 mins to Mt. Snow. Would definitely stay again. Thanks Matt!

Cozy wknd in Wilmington

Great weekend so close to town in a house that has everything you need. We loved the gas fireplace, the games and a well stocked kitchen. Will definitely be back!

Great stay in Wilmington

We would certainly return to this rental. The location is excellent. It’s quiet, clean and comfortable. The backyard and patio are nice places to hang out. The owner provided lots of nice extra details like free bottled waters, games, cozy blankets. It would be perfect for ski season.

Dream Family Vacay House!

This was a wonderful spot for a family vacation with kids. The house was spotless, well-equipped, and comfortable. We loved using the saucer swing in the backyard, picking blackberries, roasting marshmallows in the fire pit, and eating out on the deck. My daughters especially enjoyed taking baths in the giant tub. The house is a short walk from town (coffee shop, great book store, restaurants, library, playground and town trails) and an even shorter drive to the lake beach. Matt was a helpful, responsive host, we would love to spend time there again.

Close to Wilmington and Mt. Snow, without the crowd

Very nice house less than a minute from Wilmington main street - close to restaurants and grocery store. Very roomy, nice kitchen, lots of area to spread and get comfortable in the living room. Quiet area, very convenient location. I would definitely consider a longer stay next time to enjoy and relax.

Awesome Place

We had a great weekend skiing at Mt Snow. Matt’s place was awesome and he was a great host. Would definitely stay here again next time!
