A holiday home with a touch of luxury for an unforgettable vacation

The rustic villa is located directly under the rocks in the picturesque town of Grižane, near Crikvenica. The house was built in Art Nouveau style in 1906 and renovated in 2013 in such a way that it retains the glamor of the century and a touch of history from the time of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy and at the same time offers all the modern comforts that we are used to today.
The villa is detached in a quiet area of the village Marušici, with 900 m2 of private garden, large parking for 5 cars. The living area covers almost 300 m2 and extends over three floors.
On the ground floor of the villa there are two large bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and a beautiful sea view. One room is painted white with blue details and the other in warm ocher tones. In the rear part of the ground floor there is a washroom and a chamber.
We reach the first floor with wide wooden internal stairs. The walls are decorated with original paintings that were made during the construction of the house. On the left is a room in lavender color in which one wall is completely covered with original paintings. The room is furnished with century-old furniture. A private bathroom connects to the room. On the right of the corridor you enter the living area.
On the second floor there are two more bedrooms with a beautiful view of the valley, the lake and the sea. The rooms have their own large bathrooms, each with two sinks and bidet and rock view. A room (the green) and a bathroom are decorated with murals. The second room is soft orange. There is a small toilet on the mezzanine.
In the large air-conditioned living area, furnished with comfortable seating, you can spend quiet afternoons with television (SAT), reading or surfing in free wireless internet with your own laptop. The living room leads to the dining room and kitchen. The dining room is furnished with a large white table and a sideboard. Both have been here since the house was built. The kitchen is equipped with all appliances and inventory (oven, gas stove, fridge with freezer, dishwasher, microwave, filter coffee maker, kettle, toaster).
There are two terraces from the kitchen. On the left an open west-facing, ideal for morning coffee chirping the crickets or a glass of wine at sunset. To the right of the kitchen is a covered terrace with a large wooden table and benches, where you will probably spend most of the day in the shade. Next to the terrace is a barbecue area and a few stairs lead to the garden where the swimming pool with blue water like the Adriatic Sea is located. The sundeck is paved and you can enjoy the view of the sea and the lake from the loungers (6 pieces) and a large sun bed under a romantic pergola or simply sitting in the pool. The whole area is sunny from early morning until the sun rises. Next to the heated pool (7.5x3.5m) there is an outdoor shower that is heated with solar cells. Behind it is only forest and high rocks, in front of it a large and open courtyard. For fun there is a bowling green where you can try out the traditional game of the Primoremen.
All rooms face south, with a beautiful view of the sea, the island of Krk and Cres, lake and valley. The rooms are very spacious with original wooden floors and are designed to make you feel like you are back in the past. There are double beds in the rooms. Each room has its own bathroom with shower. Guests have a hairdryer, ironing board and iron at their disposal.
