Stella del Mare - a new villa in Scopello with a spectacular view of the sea.

This beautiful, newly constructed villa is located on large private grounds with a spectacular panoramic view of the sea and the village of Scopello. Enter by secured gates through a garden of olive trees. The driveway is fully paved with plenty of parking spaces. The front of the house features a covered seating porch and a large infinity pool with lounge chairs. The master bedroom is located on the ground floor and has a walk out to the pool area. There is a bathroom for the master bedroom. The two additional bedrooms are upstairs and they share a bathroom. The living room has a large sectional couch, TV and it provides a spectacular view through large sliding doors. The modern kitchen is fully equipped along with a table and chairs. There is a covered outside kitchen in the rear of the house that has an additional seating area. The outside kitchen includes a grill, stove, sink and a wood burning oven. There are also two outside showers with hot water. Landscaping surrounding the house includes rosemary, lavender, hibiscus and palms.

Gorgeous with the most amazing views

We stayed at Frank and Hana’s house for ten days in August 2024. We had an amazing time. The pool was fabulous and the shady terrace provided a lovely place to relax and take in the spectacular views. Accommodation was perfect. All air conditioned. Modern kitchen and bathrooms. Super quiet day and night. You absolutely need a car as you can not walk anywhere from the house. Nearest supermarket is 5 minutes by car and there is an inexpensive trattoria next door. The drive up to the house is along a steep and sometimes uneven road with lots of switch backs. Just take your time and it is fine. WiFi was good and we all slept well. The pool is not fenced off and there is no alarm so be careful with young kids and non swimmers. Our boys are 11 and 16 so no issues at all as both are good swimmers. I would be less relaxed with a toddler in tow, but just exercise common sense. Overall it was brilliant and we would recommend without hesitation.

Maison et vue sur mer exceptionnelles

Nous avons passé une semaine reposante et agréable. La vue sur le golfe de Castellammare est vraiment incroyable. La maison a toutes les commodités et mention spéciale pour la cuisine extérieure. C’est super. L’environnement est très calme et il fait moins étouffant qu’en bord de mer. L’emplacement permet de facilement soit d’aller à la plage, soit de visiter de très beaux lieux de cette partie de la Sicile. Nous avons vraiment adoré. Procédure de check in et de départ impeccable.

I was born in NYC of Sicilian parents. As a young person, I had the opportunity to visit Sicily many times. Fell in love with the food, people, and the culture. When I think of happiness, peace, and serenity - good food and good times - I think of Sicily.

My wife, Hana, was born in Prague, Czech Republic. She has had the opportunity to travel all over Europe as a child. She also thinks of Sicily as a paradise. This is why we decided to build our house here.

Why they chose this property

The villa is in a fantastic location that offers gorgeous views of the sea and mountains. It is situated on a large private property, but it is not too far away from the Guida Loca beach and a grocery store. The historic village of Scopello is also close by with shops and restaurants.

What makes this property unique

Within a few kilometers is the natural reserve of Zingaro. It is located alongside the coast and reaches all the way to San Vito lo Capo. Nearest town is Castellammare del Golfo, offering shopping, many restaurants and a large sandy beach.
