The view of the Vierwaldstettersee at breakfast, the air, the water is just good.
The cheese (Seelisberger) and the bread (Rustic of Volg) is a dream.
The fired fireplace after a day on the Klewenalp (valley station 5 minutes on foot) is simply unbeatable!

The house is located 400 m above Lake Lucerne on the upper edge of Emmetten.
The valley station of the Klewenalpgondel is 10 minutes on foot, where also 2 minutes further the shopping possibilities in the village are.

Beauty of Emmetten

Perfect location for access to both mountains and lakes with breathtaking views from the balconies. Everything available needed for a great self catering holiday and supermarket in walking distance. Highly recommend and would love to return.

Our stay was perfect.Booking was easy, Chris’ instructions clear as day and communicating with him was quick and friendly, the house is situated beautifully, it was spotless clean, and while it may look a bit outdated it has everything one need and more (sharp knives for instance, something lacking in lots of rentals we have visited over the years). Oh yeah, it was also very reasonably priced.All in all, a must-go-to if one wants to visit Emmetten and its (beautiful) surroundings.

Quiet house with a view

Nice location, in a quiet village halfway up te mountain with a view over the lake. Super market within walking distance. Your own parking space. The house is compact but does not feel cramped, partly thanks to all the windows and the nice balcony. Two things we were not excited about is that one of the bedrooms is in the lower ground floor which feels a bit like a basement, although it does have a window. The other issue was that the shutters don't fully block out the morning sun, so in summer the outside light will wake you up early. Easy access and departure using the key box.

Top stay

Een heel gezellig huis met een waanzinnig uitzicht. In het huis ontbreekt je aan niets tm fondue pan toe. De open haard is de kers op de taart!Let op: geen trapleuningen en het is snachts erg donker om naar het toilet te gaan!

Entdecke den Vierwaldstätter See!

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Woche am Vierwaldstätter See mit allen Möglichkeiten an Aktivitäten. Ein perfekter Platz für Berge und See, Entdeckung von Umgebung und Geschichte. Das Ferienhaus war etwas enttäuschend. Alles ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen, wobei die Ausstattung der Küche sehr gut war. Es fehlte leider die Information, dass Bad und Toilette im EG waren, das Schlafzimmer aber im 1. Stock bei sehr enger Treppe ohne Handlauf. In der Nacht hinderlich. Und leider wohnten außer uns eine extreme Zahl an Wespen, die zwar nicht aggressiv waren, mir wegen einer Allergie aber doch sehr unangenehm waren. Schade!

Traumhafte Ferien

Sehr schöne Unterkunft- wir waren schon mehrfach hier und hatten auch diesmal wieder eine sehr schöne Zeit in dieser tollen Wohnung mit nettem Vermieter. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit mit Spaziergängen, Skifahren und Snowboarden- für jeden unserer Familie super (Alter 2 bis 72)- inclusive schöner Spielplatz im Ort. Bei schlechtem Wetter hätten wir gut in die Museen nach Luzern gekonnt bei guter Busanbindung- aber das Wetter war gut :) Danke

Knusse woning, maar op een bouwlocatie

De woning ziet er van buiten en binnen verzorgd uit en is ruim voorzien van borden, bestek, etc. Mooie plek, vlak naast de kabelbaan en supermarkt op loopafstand. Het prachtige uitzicht en de rust zijn in augustus helaas verpest doordat ernaast een woning wordt gebouwd. Bouwkeet en wc voor je balkon en vanaf zeven uur in de ochtend een hoop lawaai en stank van machines. En dat de hele dag door. Communicatie met eigenaar is prima. Hij leefde wel met ons mee, maar kon er verder ook niks aan doen.

Die Aussicht von den Balkonen war super und es war gemütlich, in der Beschreibung erfährt man nicht recht, dass es nur eine Haushälfte ist. Man kann in der Region viel unternehmen.

tolles Haus mit schöner Aussicht

Wir haben 4 schöne Tage im Haus Daniela verbracht. Der Vermieter war sehr nett und hilfsbereit, das Haus sehr sauber und gemütlich. Zur Talstation sind es nur wenige Minuten und auch bei Schneemangel ist man in 30 Minuten in Engelberg. Von der Klewenalp hat man einen traumhaften Ausblick auf den Vierwaldstätter See. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Beautiful stay in charming mountain village

Arriving in Emmetten, the first thing you notice is the awe inspiring vistas of the alps and the godlike serenity in which this scenery drapes the small charming mountain village. The location of the Daniela house is perfect for taking in all the ancient mysteries of the mountains and, being not far from Lucern, it was a quick trip from nature to culture where we enjoyed the beauty of this Old World creation. We truly enjoyed our stay, the house had been cleaned vigourously at our arrival and the landlord was helpful in communicating various practical information. On top of that, the house itself was cozy and authentic and facilltated the feeling of waking up in some old romantic mountain tale every morning watching the sunlight first hit the mountain side. All in all we had a very good time staying here and could easily see ourselves coming back for more Swiss idyll.

Guter Ausgangspunkt

Die Lage des Hauses eignet sich gut für Ausflüge in der Umgebung. Innerhalb von 5 Minuten ist man auf der Autobahn. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war bestens und das Haus sehr sauber und ordentlich. Es gibt in der Küche alles was man braucht. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Traumhafte Aussicht, ruhige Lage, zentral zu Fuss zum Skilift, Einkaufsladen (Volk) und Bus. Tolle Kommunikation. Saubere Unterkunft. Schönes Geschirr und mehr als genug. Feuerholz für den Kamin inklusive - und als wir dachten das Holz würde ausgehen wurde prompt nachgeliefert... Ideal zum Skifahren und Wandern- und mit dem Bus auch schnell am See oder in Luzern. Wunschlos glücklich :) Vielen Dank! Diese Unterkunft können wir wärmstens empfehlen. Anja und Ken mit Familie

Ruhig und erholsam

Wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub. .Nach dem Ski fahren genau richtig, nicht weit von der Station ,etwas oberhalb liegt die Wohnung, mit einer schönen Aussicht. Es ist alles vorhanden und es ist sauber.

Gemütliche und ruhiges Haus

Wir sind eine Familie mit drei Kinder und haben unser Skiurlaub hier verbracht. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich . Es ist sehr gut eingerichtet. Man kann eine tolle Aussicht geniessen, da es ein wenig erhöht, aber doch zentral gelegen ist. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder einmal.
