Cleaning is included in my pricing. I offer discounts for stays over 9 nights in peak winter, and 7 in off peak periods. New master and guest baths just completed. (guest bath pics not available yet, I can e-mail low resolution iPhone pics that VRBO won't allow to be uploaded.)

We offer deals for longer stays, and dates that fill-in our calendar. 4-7 occupancy: 4 adults 3 children, or 5 adults 1 child. See bed info we want you to be comfortable!

Ka’anapali Royal is located on the 16th fairway of the Kaanapali Golf Course, in the center of the Ka’anapali Resort. The upscale condo complex has low-rise buildings and is very relaxing with lots of open green space and tropical gardens. Our quiet, spacious, top floor unit has an excellent ocean view and overlooks the pool and golf course. Enjoy amazing sunsets while you sip a Mai Tai on our huge lanai.

It's a short 5 to 10 minute stroll to Whalers Village and the world famous Kaanapali Beach, voted the third best beach in the world by readers of Conde Nast Traveler Magazine. Whaler’s Village offers a variety of stores and great restaurants. Kaanapali Royal guests enjoy a resort golf discount. 'Black Rock', located on Kaanapali Beach, offers excellent snorkeling. It is only a short drive to historical downtown Lahaina for excellent dining, art galleries and shopping.

Our privately owned condo has over 1600 square feet of living space with air conditioning plus a wonderful huge lanai with BBQ overlooking the pool with a great ocean view. It is centrally located in the complex with close access to the heated pool, spa and tennis courts. Our top floor unit is easily accessible since the parking lot is on the 2nd floor level.

We are a short set of steps up one level to great views. The downstairs entrance takes you into the living areas including a large living room, fully equipped kitchen, dining room with seating for 6, and laundry with full size washer/dryer. The living room has a queen sleeper sofa, 55' LED TV, free fastest available internet, DVD, VCR, stereo and great views. One bedroom with attached full bathroom, queen bed, ceiling fan, and private lanai is also downstairs.

Upstairs we have a very spacious master bedroom and full bathroom with vaulted ceilings & fan, ocean views, king bed, memory foam futon, TV, and DVD/VCR.

The gated condo complex has secure parking. There are also two tennis/basketball courts, a large pool, 2 gas grills and outdoor dining area, and Jacuzzi. K. Royal is the perfect spot for your vacation in a serene and relaxing atmosphere, it's never crowded. You will always have a lounge chair by the pool! Very close to the beach yet about half the price of oceanfront condos, much quieter and much larger units.

Lauri and I married on Maui in 1991 because we love it so much! We returned to the island a few times a year so decided to buy our 'home away from home' in 2003. We enjoy coming to our condo several times a year. We keep the condo well maintained, well stocked and have made it feel warm and comfortable like you're staying in a friend's home instead of a corporate rental unit. Why Rick Beck chose Lahaina

The most attractive aspect of Ka’anapali Royal is of course the location. We love the ocean views and being so close to the beach without having all the noise and foot traffic. Another deciding factor was the size of the condo being so large at 1,600 interior square feet, plus a huge 350 square foot lanai. We've stayed in many condos throughout the islands and most are small, rectangular, shotgun and feel like an apartment. We love the vaulted ceilings and no noise above us being on the top floor, plus enjoy the nicest views in the complex. The condo below us is rarely used. The complex is friendly, quiet and beautifully maintained.

What makes this condo unique

The best thing about our complex is it's never crowded so you can always get a chair by the pool! It's nice to get the resort golf discount at the Ka’anapali courses and be in close walking distance to great restaurants, shops, spas and the beach. We love our morning walks down to Black Rock and along the beach walkway then back up the short hill to home.....a great workout!

Lovely location, beautiful and well-maintained

We just love this property and this unit. Spacious, well decorated, fully equipped unit that lends to relaxing. Beautiful panoramic ocean views with Lanai & Molokai in the backdrop. The property is just off the 'beaten path' for privacy and quietness, but only a short walk to the beach and all the other restaurants, shops, and golfing.

Very nice stay! Great communication!

We had a very nice stay at this property. We had one minor issue and when I contacted Rick he was extremely helpful in getting it solved. The location is perfect about a 10-15 min walk to Whaler's Village (shops & restaurants) and the beach. The pool area is very nice and not crowded. Beautiful views from the deck, as seen in the photos.

The only negative with this condo is the very dated downstairs bathroom and shower.

Rick was very good help throughout the process. We couldn't have asked for a better person to work with.

1st Maui vacation 1st VRBO experience. Excellent choice!

After exploring the entire island in 2 1/2 weeks, we realized that this place was a great location for our first visit to Maui. Loved the stunning view from the lanai, it made for many late starts to the day as we just couldn't leave.... too relaxing. The beds were very comfy and the place was very clean and spacious. It felt like home. We shared the place with anther couple, and we had plenty of space to spread out. The place had lots of beach stuff: chairs, coolers, umbrellas, boogie boards etc.

The owners were always available to help if we needed any info.

Pros: large space, great view from the lanai especially sunsets. Close to Whaler's village and all the action if you wanted to walk there, but far enough from the noise. Go for a scenic, easy (10k round trip) jog to Lahaina if you're ambitious. Comfy beds, close to many golf courses, felt very safe around the condo and the ka'anapali area.

cons: Nothing much to complain about. The condo is close to the highway so you hear some traffic noise but I think that would be the case from any other condo as well, since almost all of them are near the hwy.

We would definitely come here again on our next visit to paradise.

All good!

The accommodations were great for my 20 year old son and myself. Lots of room and kitchen was fully stocked with cooking paraphernalia. The location was also great. I think too much closer to Lahaina would have been congested and much further north would have been too far to town...so, just right. One thing

to be aware of, and most likely are...especially if not American. ..Hawaii is an expensive, albeit beautiful, place. Aloha and enjoy!

PS the owner was very helpful and specific with I entry and exit instructions and provided a 'things to do list'. Gives a good starting point.

Annual Maui Vacation

We have been renting this condo annually for 10+ years. The owners think of and supply everything needed (except of course your personal belongings) for a comfortable, relaxing stay on Maui. Conveniently located to: pool on the property, wonderful restaurants, shopping, golf and ocean access. Some years we don't even rent a car, we can walk, use public transportation and there is a free trolley for those just wanting to commute within the immediate Kaanapali Resort area.

I highly recommend this property, especially if you want to really relax at the end of the day without being in a big overpriced, crowded resort.

Mahalo to the owners. They really make your stay a memorable one.

Vacation Paradise

Let me just start by saying you won't find a better view, location, or better amenities. This was our 5th or 6th stay and we just love it. The unit itself is super-comfy and spacious. It's all the amenities of home, and I do mean all, but with the most spectacular view of the ocean and sunsets. There is peace and quiet, great proximity to the beach and other local needs (restaurants, market, fitness center, shops) all within walking distance. Once you settle in it is really, really hard to leave.
