Sailor's Nest at Flathead Lake

Located in the Lakeside hamlet of Dayton, Montana, our lake cottage is guaranteed to help you unwind. A stones throw to Flathead Lake and you'll find a public swim area and dock, boat ramp, the Dayton Yacht Harbor, park, and old Hwy 93 for a stroll or a lakeside bike ride. The Idle Spur is a fun spot on a Friday night to grab a burger and meet some of the local color. Dayton is the last remaining sleepy spot on the lake and centrally located between Lakeside and Polson. Lake Mary Ronan is just a few miles up the road and has several lodges that offer waterfront dining. This cottage is located upstairs from our toy storage/shop and requires walking up 26 stairs.

Fabulous!

We stayed here when my husband took sailing lessons on Flathead Lake. The place was well equipped and very comfortable. The porch is the highlight with amazing views. We really enjoyed the thunderstorm that rolled in. I highly recommend this property to anyone staying in the area. Be sure you are willing and able to do the stairs, but it is worth it!

Second story deck with a view of the lake

We had a good size party and the place accommodated us well. Plenty of seating in the living room and the kitchen for meals. The place did have some warm days and without AC, it was tough to cool down. There were fans available though. The 4 stars for accuracy was due to the main room listed as having a king bed, but it was NOT. The host answered promptly any questions. The best part was the deck. It wrapped around 2 sides and had great sunrise and sunset views!
