About Jan Eyer

My husband and I love the outdoors. Although my husband is from Texas, he has taken a shine to the Rocky Mountains. We live in Colorado, but long to be in Montana. Our 4, 20something year old children enjoy the trek too.

Jan Eyer purchased this house in 2014

Why Jan Eyer chose Flathead Lake

I grew up in Montana vacationing on Flathead Lake every summer. My husband has grown to love Montana too and with Glacier National Park so close it is the perfect spot for us and our children.

Tremendous views!!

  • 5 of 5

Our family had a wonderful time and enjoyed our experience! We watched the eagles soar over the water and they even flew right up close to the house, too. The house was very comfortable, well appointed, and I would recommend it to anyone coming to the area!

Worth it!!!

  • 5 of 5

My hubbs & I celebrated our 25 wedding anniversary here and it was fabulous!! The location is ideal. Private, romantic spot yet not far away from many nearby towns for shopping, sightseeing, restaurants, and local flare! We got to see and do so much during the days and come home to a cozy and comfortable home for relaxing and refreshing evenings. Not to be bothered by noisy neighbors conversations or music etc..just the two of us. Nestled in a small neighborhood community however the house faces the water, all of the Windows are private, not spoiled by nearby houses and the very small neighborhood is very quiet and the people we did see on our walks were all very friendly. We hope to return soon with our son and daughter-in-law for a family vacation. Nothing compares to the majestic views of the mountains and lake together! Thankful this home is available on VRBO!!

Gorgeous Lake House

  • 5 of 5

We stayed 3 nights with our 3 teenagers. They all enjoyed the kayak and floating around the dock even with the October temperatures. We all enjoyed the hot tub, board games, Netflix and cable. The last night we roasted hot dogs in the fire pit by the lake. Truly this house wants for nothing. Beds were extremely comfortable and the views are exceptional. Would love to come back! Thank you!

Gorgeous home with stunning views, exceptionally peaceful

  • 5 of 5

This home is stunning. It was the perfect setting for our honeymoon. The views were almost unreal, everywhere you look could be a postcard.

From the dock, to the kayak, fire pit, terrace and deck, wood burner etc. this place has it all for a cozy, relaxing stay.

The kitchen and grill are outfitted with everything and Jan provides all the accessories you need. Sheets, bedding and towels/linens are plentiful.

Access to Somers, Whitefish, Kalispell, and Big Fork are a huge plus and the hiking near and far is spectacular. We will be back!

Great Lake House

  • 5 of 5

This house was clean, spacious and well-designed. The deck right outside of the living area was large, and was equipped with a propane grill and 3 tables with chairs. It presented a clear view of beautiful Flathead Lake. We loved the other outdoor seating area, which was partially shaded, also with a view of the lake. It was great to have morning coffee there while viewing the sunrise. The kitchen was well-equipped for the meals that we prepared. The dock area allowed us to get down to the lake level to enjoy the cool breeze, and the kayak was fun to maneuver over the slightly rippling water. If you have a chance to rent this property, do it.
