We’re disappointed by this review, particularly because it does not reflect the experience of the overwhelming majority of guests who have stayed in this property. We have hundreds of maximum star guest reviews and we take legitimate concerns very seriously. During this stay, the guest raised a number of minor issues, several of which are reflected in the photos attached to the review. (It is love bug season outside this week for example). We responded promptly with offers for additional cleaners, and made every effort to address his concerns. The guest nevertheless chose to leave early (coincidentally just as the weather started looking bad for the week) and then requested a 100% refund of his stay. Although we did not believe the condition of the property warranted a full refund, we did provide a more than substantial 50% refund as a gesture of goodwill. The guest remained dissatisfied because he wanted the entire stay refunded 100 percent. We believe this was a tactic to enjoy a free vacation or abandon the vacation due to pending weather incoming. We stand behind the condition, extreme cleanliness, and presentation of this property and believe our extensive history of highly rated guest stays provides a much more representative picture of what future guests can expect. We will always address legitimate problems promptly, but we also believe reviews should fairly reflect the overall condition and experience of a property.
