Host was great, house was a little underwhelming as far as cleanliness but still way better than a motel!

Hello Tony,
We appreciate the feedback. Can you message us what specific concerns you had about the cleaning? Our aim is to always provide and comfortable and clean stay for our guests. If you let us know your specific concerns, we can inform our cleaning staff so we can make it better for future guests.
House was great, very accommodating. Jacuzzi and fire were a great addition. I will say there is a lot of wear and tear, small things that need to be repaired but I’m sure that’s due to the constant use. Hosts didn’t bother us at all, nice neighborhood near a lot of stores/food places.
Great Location! Good spot between the mountains and downtown Portland. You can ride the Light Rail to get downtown for a very reasonable price. The property is in a good neighborhood and close to other amenities.
Two of my colleagues and myself were coming to Portland for a conference and we found all the accommodations excellent. Will certainly stay here again when the opportunity arises.
We were staying two nights exploring Oregon and Portland area. Convenient location, easy to get around. Home was clean, has all necessities for comfortable stay.
This was the perfect location for us to visit family nearby. Everything we needed was within min of the house. Beds were comfortable and the hosts were great. Will stay again when we return to the area.

Thank you Jennifer! Appreciate it and we would love to host you in the future.
Nice neighborhood just close enough to downtown to be convenient to spend the day sightseeing but return home to relax in the evening (including in the hot tub). Clean and comfortable.

Thank you, Elizabeth! I am glad you enjoyed our home.
Lots of small probs - electric outlet in MBR spotty, sinks slow to drain, blinds missing multiple slats, can openers don't work, freezer handle pops off - but the big thing were the ants in the kitchen, dining area, foyer, MBR, MBath. They offered to send ant traps and sprays so WE could solve THEIR problem but noboby came over to take care of the indoors. (They said that an exterminator sprayed outside.)

Hello Robert,
We are sorry about the issues you faced. First of all, we informed you that we were out of the country during the time of your visit and would have been more personally involved in assisting you. We made sure we were in communication with you the entire time regarding the ants in the home. Unfortunately, due to the cold weather, there's more ants activity. As we discussed, we got an exterminator company (Axiom Pest Control) to come out as soon as possible to the home during the holidays. They did. We have the receipt, and contract to show for it. Also, they showed up to the home at 8:30am on 12/26 based on evidence from our outdoor ring camara, and text messages from the Pest Control Technician. The knocked on the door but you did not answer. Since they got no response they decided to take care of the exterior. All these were discussed with you.
We also refunded you an appropriate amount for this issue.
Regarding the other issues you faced, you did not mention this to us during your stay. However, these are things we can easily take care of for our next guests.
It's a very nice house located in a quiet residential neighborhood. The location was very close to the venue where we attended a wedding, and we had good access to Portland and nearby attractions that we wanted to visit.
We agree with some of the more critical recent comments, the house really does need some attention. Sinks slow to drain, freezer handle pops off, wobbly dishwasher, raised staples in carpets, no extra trash can liners for kitchen, broken bathroom trashcans upstairs, not very much to cook with (no full cup measurement) in the full-sized kitchen, no real gathering space indoors for over six people without someone having to be on the floor or having to pull chairs from the dining room. I still would have rated 4 stars despite all these minor issues, but charging us a cleaning fee for a service dog and abusing their Ring camera to respond to critical comments left too much of a sour taste in my mouth. All of the facilities were functional, we had just hoped they would be a bit nicer.

Hello Lillie,
We are sorry that your stay was not what you expected. We would have liked to hear from you during your stay about these things and we would have done our best to resolve them. You did not have any communication with us at all during your stay. The only communication we had was from one of your guests.
Let me address some of your comments in your review.
One of your guests informed us when you already checked in that they have a pet. Even though our home is advertised as a no pet home. We have evidence of your guests messages that showed that you would pay the pet cleaning fee. All this was done amicably which is why we are surprised at the negativity. Additionally, even when VRBO called us we decided to not move forward with the pet fee charge, so you actually did not pay for any pet cleaning fee.
We are also curious about how we abuse our ring camara. We requested evidence from you of this since you posted your review (5 days ago), but we haven't received any response. Our 2 outdoor ring camaras are for the safety of our home. We do not bother anyone. There's no historical evidence in our reviews to show that we do.
We are VRBO hosts that enjoy hosting our guests. We also aim to provide a comfortable stay. We also hold ourselves accountable when our guests have complaints, and aim to do better for our future guests.
Excellent communication, location, and amenities… excellent Wi-Fi, streaming service available and appliances were great… including hot tub… absolute only suggestion would be to provide toiletries, extra paper towels and trash bags (at least enough for the duration of the stay).
We stayed here to visit parents/grandparents for Thanksgiving. The house was much larger than the pictures indicated. Beds were amazing. There was a TV in the master but I’d suggest TV’s in the other 2 bedrooms since we were staying there with our adult children. Very quiet neighborhood with a very relaxing backyard. We will be back.
The house could use a bit of attention. There were holes in the walls from past pictures or other items. The towel bar in the bathroom was broken. The bunk bed was VERY squeaky. There were not very many hand towels. The garbage can lids in the bathrooms were broken off but sitting on top. The dishwasher was loose and would move around when opening the door. The kitchen could use some cooking utensils and maybe some new pans. The hot tub was nice though.

Hello Nick,
Feedback from our guest is always important because we always aim to ensure our guests have a comfortable stay. We are aware of the items you are talking about and they are in our plans for our next fix for our home. We didn't hear from you during your entire stay, and this is something we could have communicated if you reached out to us with your concerns. Some one thise things are things we could have replaced quickly as well if it was an urgent issue for you.
You also brought your pet to our home without informing us. We've clearly stated on here that this is a no pet home.
As we said earlier, Feedback is important to us, so we will ensure issues are resolved for our next guests.
Wonderfully Spacious Home in a Wuaint Neighborhood
We are 3 adults traveling to Oregon to enjoy the outdoors. We needed a home with 3 beds and a hot tub. We found just what we needed here with this home. Conveniently located in a quaint neighborhood east of downtown Portland. We were able to drive to see the falls, Mt Hood and Silver Falls state park and arrive back at the home with relative ease. There is plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby. The owners are kind and friendly and very responsive. We felt very safe in the home!
