Great property, great week

Everything in the townhouse was just as described and photographed. The view is excellent, and the beach and pool access are perfect. The staff at Casablanca were all very nice and helpful.

Great time in Townhouse#9

We enjoyed our stay.The Condo was very nice and big.The girls really like having their own room and bathroom.It was like being at home but on vacation. We will be renting again.Close to everything we needed.

Address on the map is wrong,but overall nice place

We stayed here for 9 nights at the beginning of May. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Here is a pros vs cons breakdown.

PRO:

- *very* close to the beach. the beach and the ocean are directly behind the pool you see in the picture. it is not a crowded beach either, which we liked

- the pool: there is a pool directly outside the condo, with chairs and decent shade.

- the place as a whole was pretty clean

- kitchen has new appliances

- there's a balcony on both floors of the condo

CONS:

- the property is located A WHOLE 4 MILES NORTH OF THE AREA SHOWN ON THIS MAP. this ended being a not too terrible thing, as the beach was less crowded and we were further away from all the commotion of South Beach. but we definitely did not appreciate finding that out a week away from our arrival date, when we got the exact address. if you want to be in the heart of the party, this might not be the spot for you.

- the dryer did not work

- we had two people + a baby in the master bedroom and 4 people in the smaller bedroom. I do not recommend that setup for anyone. it got very hot with 4 people in one room, while the master bedroom was extremely cold. spacewise though, the closet space was enough for 4 people on a 9 day trip

- the bathroom were not as clean as they could have been (there was dust on some of the surfaces, floors looked dirty- though they could have just been old)

- wi-fi was almost non existent on the second floor

Wonderful Condo in Slightly Dated Building

We had a lovely stay at this property. The condo is in great shape (except for some expected wear and tear). We loved the 2 stories of the property which provided great privacy between bedrooms and living space. Bedrooms were very spacious and the property even had a pack n play on site which we ended up using for our son (and it fit in the guest bed room w/2 beds, no problem). Both closets are walk-in and fantastic. Amenities were great and the kitchen was very well stocked with necessary dishes/pots/pans/utensils, etc. We LOVED having a washer and dryer in the condo, particularly w/two kids and for wet/dirty beach towels. The towels (beach and bath) at property were of good quality and in good quantity. Beach chairs were great.

Onsite restaurant was ok. Super convenient if you want a sandwich or breakfast and don't feel like cooking or going out. Staff was very nice and accommodating. The pool is great and we all had a great time there and on the beach. Never had a hard time getting lounge chairs at the pool.

Onsite convenience store is good for small items. There's also a 7-11 across the street.

Valet service was pretty efficient, even with a large number of cars coming in and out. We never had to wait too long.

The only "negatives" (and they are MINOR) are these:

The pool is fairly unregulated and there is noise until midnight-ish by kids and people still in the pool. HOWEVER, we just turned on the box fan in our bedroom to mute some of the noise. It wasn't a big problem.

The building is a bit dated (carpets are pretty gross in the hallway/lobby area)

Beach umbrellas provided are flimsy and tend to blow away/flip inside out in the wind

The pull out sofa in living room was pretty uncomfortable but we moved the futon mattress from upstairs on top of it and it was then great.

We definitely plan on renting this property again next time we are down visiting family in Miami. (Hopefully security deposit return is handled quickly - that is the only pending issue). We've been renting condos in Miami for our annual family trip for 5 years and this is the first property we found that we want to come back to. It's a good find!!!
