Communication with the host was superb, the room is a two minute walk from the beach and pools, it was very quiet, there was a large koi pond/waterfall just outside the back patio/lanai, and there was a large grass field for the kids to play in right outside the door downstairs that we could see from the patio. This is a great place to stay, I’m very glad we chose this one.

Perfect Family Stay

We had an absolutely amazing time staying here. It was the perfect space for our family of 5 and we had everything we needed and MORE! We highly appreciated all of the beach chairs, toys and pool floats. Our kids were very excited to have these things and we were thrilled to have a booster seat and pack and play for our youngest. The property is absolutely beautiful with a convenient shop on the main floor for some snacks and drinks. We loved sitting out on our terrace and enjoying the weather in the evening. It was a very convenient location as well. We walked to the food trucks for dinner one night and could also get to the grocery easily. We were able to snorkel right off the beach and saw many fish, turtles and even a seal! We highly recommend the property and this particular unit and would absolutely come back again. Thank you for being responsive and helpful leading up to our trip. Your communication was impeccable. The unit is beautifully taken care of and we hope to be back soon!

We loved our time on Maui. The Honua Kai Resort is wonderful, with a gorgeous golden sand beach! The condo is just perfect for a family. We spent our mornings and early evenings on the lanai. The mountain view is amazing. The sound of the water below the lanai was so soothing. On top of everything else the beds were as comfortable as most 5 star hotels. I could go on and on.
