This lovely and comfortable condo is more like a townhome and is perfect for friends and families. Use the beautiful tree-lined paths outside the complex to walk to nearby shops and restaurants, or make the short drive to one of 5 public beaches, nearby golf courses, or one of the many historic sites on the island. Spend some time on the island where we know you will enjoy the peace and quiet offered at this wonderful location and discover why this condo is truly Meant to Beach!



PLEASE NOTE: St. Simons is an island with a tropical, moist, and humid climate. Bugs love this as much as people do, especially in the summer. We have double pest control on our unit. We do everything we can to prevent unwanted visitors during your stay; however, with the climate, it is impossible to ensure that you will not see an unwelcome guest. Luckily, most of them are dead once they are inside, which means the pest control we pay for is doing its job; it does not mean our cleaners are not doing theirs. Please be understanding of the climate and our efforts to make your stay as pleasant and bug-free as possible. If you see any unwanted pests, please let us know during your stay, not in your post-stay review. Our pest control company is a few blocks away and can come anytime. We are happy to do whatever we can to make your stay enjoyable.

Our host Katie was wonderful in communicating with us. The house is as described & photos were accurate. It was nice having laundry in the condo. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful host and home!

We truly enjoyed our stay at this property. The home was beautifully decorated and maintained. We loved that cards and games were provided, and we played them each night as a family. Our host was very helpful and responsive and made sure our stay was perfect. We would absolutely stay here again!

My sister and I went for a quick relaxing beach trip. The check in was easy. Very clean and beds were comfy. We will definitely stay again! The host responded quickly with questions we had about our stay.

We enjoyed our stay! The owner Kris was helpful and very easy to contact. We highly recommend this condo, very easy access to the beach, pier, lighthouse, and Jekyll Island. Thanks for everything!

Peaceful, indeed.

Nice "home away from home" while visiting the area. I do wish the ice/ water on the refrigerator worked as I personally don't like purchasing bottled water. Also could use a tea kettle. (Again, personal preference) Otherwise, a very comfortable and lovely stay in a very lovely home. Beach gear, extra towels, and outdoor shower were a nice touch!

Bachelorette trip

Overall we enjoyed our stay. We felt as though the condo could have been cleaner initially upon arrival. We did have to kill one large bug in the kitchen, which was a lot for 25 year old girls! Haha. The air did not work well in the 2nd bedroom but it wasn’t uncomfortable.

Sorry about the unwanted guest, it is a tropical climate and we do all we can to keep them out, but it's not an easy task. If you stay with us again, please note we have fans in the closets for our guests to keep cool with if the air is not enough. Glad you still were able to enjoy it with your friends.

This property was very well appointed and everything you needed for a stay was available. Communication between the property owner Kris was responded to in a very timely manner. We loved the Island so much. Thanks for sharing your lovely town home.

Pretty good!!

There is actually only one shower in the house - the second shower is an outdoor shower that had a lot of beach toys in it. And the dish washer was pretty old / falling apart. Otherwise we had a great stay. Beds were comfy and the layout was spacious. The decor was pretty as well. Great stay!

Thanks so much for your review. Our listing does not say we have two showers indoors, it does state one is an outdoor shower and we have only a 1/2 bath downstairs. I’m very sorry you felt otherwise and we will review this for for future guests. The dishwasher is fairly new so it sounds like it was damaged by a previous guest. Thanks for letting us know do we can have it checked out. We are happy to hear you enjoyed your stay.

The place was nice could use some renovation on outside throughout the community. The pool vould use some newer chairs and some umbrellas. Other then that great.

Amazing Experience

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. The host was super communicative and gave me a ton of ideas about the area beforehand. The rental was clean, nicely decorated and had the pool in just a few short steps. They even provided toilet paper, paper towels and soaps (kitchen, bathroom, etc). It was also equipped with beach toys & towels if you needed them. All in all, this was an excellent first experience in SSI, we will definitely be back and will definitely rent here again. Kris is amazing!

Not quiet right but nice trip

Decorated beautiful , living room furniture soiled an needs replacing or cleaning! Back deck not swept chairs needed cleaning hard time opening doors to get on back deck! There are two doors with full windows on each side of fireplace going on to deck…. There are no blinds or curtains…. We had to place chairs in front of door with blankets in them to have privacy!!!

Hi Cynthia, We did our best to help you each time you called us. With lots of storms and many trees the back deck is very difficult to keep perfect but we certainly try. Our doors also sometimes are victims of the wet and humid climate and can stick. We do not show we have curtains or blinds on our doors in our photos, our property backs up to woods and is very private. I’m happy to hear you still had a nice time. Sorry you felt our unit was not up to your expectations and thank you for the feedback about our furniture needing to be cleaned. We have that scheduled for as soon as we have a break in our calendar.

Great Fall Break Getaway!

I loved this condo on St. Simons!!! It's tucked away just off the busy side of the island, but 2-3 minutes away from shopping, airport, restaurants, and gas. The pier is about 5 minutes away, and the main beach maybe 8 minutes tops! Everything in the condo was 5-star worthy. Smart TVs in the living room and master bedroom were an added bonus. The beds were super comfortable! The powder room downstairs offered an extra convenience. Everything was well supplied. I also loved having a washer/dryer. The pool in the complex has nicely updated loungers. The hosts were accommodating and responsive from beginning to end. I'm looking forward to rebooking here again next Fall Break! Thanks for having us!!

Oh Hey, Spring Break Vacay

My family and I visited St. Simons over the Spring Break Weekend of April 1-4, 2024. Overall, our stay was nice. Upon entering the villa, we were quite surprised because looking outside we were skeptical. The house appeared to be cleaned well, we just sanitized all throughout the house and washed the towels and sheets as our personal preference. But overall, I would definitely recommend your villa to family and friends and will rebook in the future. Pros -within driving distance to many places of interest -house had almost all needed items for our stay (including cooking utensils) -provided bath soap (Dove), paper towel, dish detergent, washing pods, beach chairs, beach towels Cons -lighting in second bedroom would be nice, but not a big problem -deck needs to be cleaned off (heavily covered with leaves) -screen doors don’t lock -sofa/chairs could be shampooed as well -dish washer was a little tricky at times

Great Convenient Location

I booked Meant to Beach while having some repair work done on my home. Kris, the Owner, was easily accessible by phone/text and the location was convenient to pretty much all the local attractions.

Great rental

Nice condo. Bedrooms are upstairs along with master bath. Half bath downstairs and private outside shower. Property was overall clean. Owner provided bath & beach towels were very nice. Location was also great. East Beach was wonderful- not many waves and fairly calm. Beach also allows tents, canopies, etc. which was great. Driftwood beach is close and was beautiful- have to pay $8 to get onto Jekyll Island but it’s worth it to see Driftwood beach. Very nice host as well. Also not too far to Savannah.

Great place to stay!

Great place to stay. The accommodations were great. It was very clean and everything we needed was there for us. And it was just a short drive to the beach and shopping for my wife and daughter. Looking forward to returning soon!
