The property is exactly as advertised! It was incredible, well maintained, and had everything we needed for a gathering with friends and family. We spent our time fishing, playing games, cooking, talking around the fire pit, and relaxing in the hot tub.The fishing was great—one member of our group caught at least 15 fish! The location is also very convenient and is just a short distance from Tell City, which made it easy to grab food or pick up anything we needed during our stay. We ordered a party pizza from Chicago’s Pizza, and it was very good.Communication with the host was excellent throughout our stay. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to enjoy the outdoors and spend quality time with friends or family. We had a wonderful experience and would happily stay here again!

It was exactly what we were looking for. Super peaceful, beautiful scenery, remote location. Good communication and easy check in process. First night there, it was rainy but still super peaceful sitting by the fire on the porch listening to the rain. The fishing was great. Couldn't have went any better. Will definitely be returning.

This property is amazing. It’s very private and secluded. We found it very peaceful. They have everything you could ever ask for the golf cart the canoes the boat, the tiki bar, all kinds of games and stuff you can play and do the fire pit. It has everything and more. Would highly recommend it if you want a great weekend getaway the lake is beautiful.

Everything was splendid. The cabin, the amenities, the hot tub, the privacy, the lake.... We did not want for anything other than food, beverages, bait and tackle. The fishing was a lot of fun and kept us pretty busy. The host was super responsive, helpful, friendly, and cares about the visitors. We had a great time and look forward to returning.

Amazing Family Getaway

Our family of 5 had a great time at this beautiful property. We enjoyed eating and hanging out in the screened in porch every evening. The kids had a blast fishing and swimming in the lake. Close to Holiday World too.

AMAZING!

This property is wonderful! Fishing, boating, kayaking, fire pit, swimming, hot tub…it has it all! Our family had an amazing 4th of July weekend together. We most definitely will be back!

Grandkids getaway

What a great place we enjoyed the lake everyday and the Tiki hut was great place to hang out at as the grandkids enjoyed the diving board it was very peaceful at night by the firepit . Would highly recommend we will be back

Great family getaway

My family and I wanted to get away for Christmas and the Lakeside Cabin was perfect! The host were quick with their correspondence and everything was easy to use and find. There’s already been some discussion of a summer trip to take better advantage of the pond and kayaks.

Cozy Cabin

We were in the area for a wedding at Matilda’s event center, which is only a half a mile away! The Lakeside cabin is amazing. We will definitely come back for a family trip. Plenty to do lots of amenities and very secluded. We absolutely loved it!

Great Fall Getaway

Little slice of heaven! We stayed here to attend a wedding at Matilda’s Event Barn. It was idyllic, so pretty with the fall colors and glassy lake. We loved hanging out in the porch with blankets (early November). Everything was very accommodating, temperature control in both sleeping rooms. Simple check and out. I only wish we could have stayed longer. We’re keeping this in mind for the summer!
