Tangerine Sunsets Alta Vista Studio One

This newly renovated fully private studio apartment is annexed to a large estate home and it's cozy modern feel will make you feel right at home from the minute you . Alta Vista Studio One greets you with a warm and playful powder blue decor that instantly relaxes you, a private en suite bathroom and a modern bedroom with a queen bed will ensure a good night's sleep.  You can also relax on the futon sofa and watch your favorite TV shows on our HDTV smart TV.  Like a hotel suite, we've skipped the stove (you're on vacation after all ;)  but your Studio has a lovely kitchenette equipped with a hotel size mini fridge, microwave, toaster and of course a coffee pot to enjoy a fresh cup of coffee each morning to start your day in paradise.  A dining table for two is available to enjoy meals or get some work done on your laptop, but don't work too hard because you'll miss the beautiful pool on property, the outdoor seating that's exclusive to your unit, or enjoy a game of tennis on our full sized tennis court.  Studio One is on a large estate and when you walk the north side of the property you will fall in love with the ocean views, fruit trees in our multilevel garden and court yard.  Snuggle up with a good book under the shade of one of our tropical fruit trees and just R.E.L.A.X! 

You have access to your private parking area and separate entrance to the property.  Nearby you can also catch a public bus within a 4 minute walk, or walk down to Montagu Beach in 12 minutes and visit the nearby restaurants, or continue to the harbor bay shopping center (4 minute drive, 20 minute walk) and enjoy even more restaurants, access local banks, or go grocery shopping at Solomon's Fresh market.   The Atlantis and Paradise Island is another few minutes away by car, though many people walk there from the Harbor Bay shopping center.    We are 35 minutes away from the airport, 10 minutes to Atlantis, 12 minutes to downtown and 18 minutes to Cable Beach.

Alta Vista Studio One is a new addition to our Tangerine Sunsets list of properties and sure to be a crowd favorite, we look forward to hosting you.

- Check-In time (after 3:30 pm) and Checkout time (by 10 am) are firm. Our cleaning agent will arrive promptly at 10am to prepare for our next guest.

- Only registered guests are allowed to visit or use our pool and property facilities.



- NO SMOKING inside the unit - Heavy fines for evidence of smoking.



- No pets allowed.

Had a great stay in Nassau. Suite was just what we needed. Cute, clean and easy to get to, in a nice quiet Neighborhood. Management is attentive and fast to respond. Our hot water went out and they came quick to fix it. Would highly recommend!

Alta Vista Studio One

Apartment size was good. Not suitable for 3 people as the ad claims. Bus travel from the studio to downtown is sketchy at best. Not very many buses run out that far from town. You have two basic options for cooking. One is a microwave. The other is a toaster. Food is very expensive to eat out. And if you're trying to save money by eating at the apartment don't choose this one. We also had trouble with ants on the counter tops. The pool was great with plenty of chairs. The studio is simply a master bedroom off of the main house. There were eight guests next door to us and we could hear their conversation plainly through the double doors going into the main house. Very annoying! Wouldn't recommend using the washing machine as it is filthy. Although communication with the property manager was prompt and easy with email, we never met face-to-face with anyone related to the apartment.

Vacation Long Overdue

Overall stay was good, but could be much better. The "Property Mgmt." could only be reached by phone or text via whatsapp. They stayed in constant contact and relayed any concerns we had to The staff overseeing the property, who were great. Some of our concerns were relayed incorrectly, so we developed a good relation with the property staff. With that said, the unit was clean, but needs some serious renovations. The roof leaked during a rainstorm, the bed needs a modern and comfortable mattress, and your kitchenette needs burners instead of a microwave for long stays. The one thing that sold the unit for us was the swimming pool. However, the pics don't represent what it looks like in person. The filter turns off at night, allowing debris to build up on the surface. This eats away at chlorine levels and there's no way of telling the turnover rate or chlorine levels present once the filter turns back on. There's also a pitting problem with the pool steps and pool floor. I'm a pool inspector of the D.O.H. so I'm a stickler when it comes to this. My lady and I did take advantage of tanning on the pool deck which is beautiful. The grounds a covered with coconut trees, beautiful flowers, and stepping stones leading to the unit. Staff does a wonderful job of maintaining it. The house is conveniently located near downtown Nassau, and it's a short drive to Junkanoo Beach and Paradise Island. I do like the property and would stay here again provided there's an upgrade.

Alta Vista Studio One

The suite is clean, well decorated, and provides all the necessities. Bed is comfortable. The pool and tennis court were nice to have on site. Good customer service. Our trip was quite an adventure, and I would not anticipate all of the things that happened for us to occur for everybody... but I would be remiss not to mention them. The suite was not located in the spot it showed up on in the VRBO site, and when we searched the address that is provided close to the time of your stay, it did not come up. We had figured it would be a small side street, or a lane way in a complex near the pin point on the map, however it was not. The property is on the residential Eastern side of the island, and there was no bus stop nearby. Our taxi was not at the airport when we arrived, as he had misbooked us for the following day. He arrived within 30 minutes. Our emails to the property company to get help booking activities were going to their junk mail, which was tricky over the Easter long weekend. Recommend to book your excursions ahead of arriving to the island, especially if you want to go to Exuma. There were a few issues with the property plumbing during our stay, however Duran was able to resolve them once he arrived on the island, and was very prompt to reply once we had his WhatsApp messenger contact. He compensated us for our return taxi back to the airport, and even made sure we had some cold beers to sit by the pool while the plumbing was being repaired. Taxis do add up ($50 round trip to downtown/Paradise Island) recommend to book a vehicle (2 day minimum for the Tangerine sunsets vehicle) if you want to get around to multiple destinations. I recommend getting a grocery stop or delivery planned ahead of time, if you are not renting a vehicle. Montague beach nearby is a locals beach, and has food vendors, but not the long white sands beaches you may anticipate. Most other beaches we saw around the island were more along what a tourist may envision. Overall a great trip - would recommend and return now that we know what to expect, and since the customer service really turned around any of the trickies we ran into.

Great property

Had a wonderful stay at Alta Vista one. As a Bahamian who lives in America this was the perfect place for me and my son to enjoy Nassau again. Convenient location, but you must have a car to get around Nassau. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool on these hot summer days. Space was clean and tidy. Neighborhood is quiet. Felt safe and secured. Definitely booking again soon. Also the communication is top notch!

Great little place, just not close to much!

My best friend and I stayed here for a week when I was competing in a Bodybuilding competition in Nassau and it was cute!It was a great place that looked like the pictures online, it was just really small. It also isn't close to anything, so be prepared to spend a good amount of money on taxis if you're wanting to explore much of Nassau. The property management was AMAZING and helped us with whatever we needed! She even gave us some fresh mangos! The staff MADE this place!

One thing to know about most places is that having a car is important. There is nothing within walking distance, although shops, downtown Bay Street and Paradise Island are all within a 10 - 20 minute drive from this location. I was really impressed with how quickly the team responded to any enquiries that I had leading up to and during my stay. I also really loved the location because it was so quiet and peaceful and I woke up to birds singing each day. The pool was lovely and they were really thoughtful about leaving goggles and pool toys and even equipment to use the tennis court. I would definitely stay here again."

Excellent service - I recommend Tangerine Sunset a hundred percent. They are very available and their service is perfect. We enjoyed our vacations better if we booked somewhere else.
