The cabin sits on a beautiful piece of land that my family absolutely loved. It is nicely laid out and very accommodating for multiple people to sleep. We are from the city so the bugs in the cabin were a new thing for my girls to experience, but wasn’t too bad. Lol However, the intense sulfur in the water was not ideal for brushing teeth and showering. Other than that, everything else was great. The beds are very comfortable too.
The property and cottage is beautiful. We had access to canoes, kayaks, and a paddle boat for the lake that is approximately 150 ft from the cottage. We brought fishing gear and everyone who fished caught something. (Bass, bluegill and crappie). The only downside was the strong sulfur smell emanating from the water. From my family’s perspective, it was not drinkable, or suitable for showers and overpowered the air in the cottage to the point where we left our door open. We notified the host and she stated that this sometimes happens when coming out of the winter months. The host did leave bottled water in the fridge for our use. I would likely stay at this property again at a different time of year for a short stay to see if the issue with the water still occurred.
