Profitez de mon restauré 1849 grange au bout d'une route isolée. (Il est une ferme de 240 acres). Cette propriété est dans ma famille depuis quatre générations. Note intéressante, Homer, Ohio, est la maison de la première femme à se présenter à la présidence, Victoria Woodhull, en 1878. En fait, un parent, me dit-on. Découvrez son histoire! apparemment chambre au premier étage, chambre au deuxième étage, salle de bain au deuxième étage avec baignoire, douche et sauna. Parfait pour les week-ends des parents des collèges @ Mount Vernon Nazarene, Denison, Kenyon, ou Ohio State. 23 minutes en voiture de Kenyon College- 15. 8 miles. Il est à 14 minutes en voiture de Denison-14. 8 miles. 44 minutes en voiture de Ohio State- 39. 3 miles. C'est aprox. A 45 minutes de Polaris Parkway, au début de Columbus, haut lieu des boutiques et des restaurants. 40 minutes du centre ville d'Easton.(Autre côté de Colomb). Environ une heure à Amish Country.(Mount Hope) Idéal comme une retraite pour la semaine ou le week-end. Dort au moins neuf au total. Deux dans la chambre principale privée (reine) et deux dans la chambre privée à l'étage.(Reine), beaucoup d'oreillers supplémentaires allant du doux au dur, petits et grands. Master avec accès extérieur privé et salle de bain. Les portes-fenêtres offrent de beaux bruits et bruits extérieurs! Nouveau chauffage central et air installés cette semaine. J'ai laissé des fenêtres dans, si vous préférez un refroidissement localisé. peut enlever plus tard, en fonction de la performance du centre! Cuisine entièrement équipée. Comptoirs en granit, micro-ondes, cuisinière, lave-vaisselle, réfrigérateur. Système de filtration d'osmose inverse dans la cuisine. Quatre salles de bain, (la baignoire dans la chambre principale ne fonctionne pas), chauffage central au propane et climatisation installés en février 2019. Poêle à pellets 50 000 BTU dans le salon principal et foyer au bois. Câble et internet. Chaînes de télévision directe dans le salon et la chambre principale en bas. La télévision à l'étage est uniquement destinée aux films et à la télévision par antenne locale. Si vous avez un nombre illimité de données sur votre téléphone, vous pouvez utiliser votre point d'accès mobile pour diffuser. Hughes internet ne permet pas le streaming! Nous sommes trop éloignés !!!Troisième salle de bains dans mudroom avec accès indépendant pour les randonneurs boueux. C'est une grange originale. s'il vous plaît noter: c'est une grange réutilisée réelle! Il y a l'eau de puits. Il y a un purificateur sur l'évier de la cuisine et un système RO complet pour la maison nouvellement installé, mais nous apportons de l'eau à boire.
Elle est traitée pour les bugs bi annuels, mais il peut très bien être un peu. C'est une grange originale des années 1800. Il y a des chiens, des coqs, des vaches et des poulets en face! Il y a des zones humides avec des oiseaux, et beaucoup de dinde et de cerf. PAS DE CHASSE!!!!Il y a un
nouveau barbecue à quatre brûleurs Weber sur le pont, ainsi qu'un barbecue au charbon de bois. Foyer extérieur, aussi. Merci d'avoir regardé!

A lovely stay!

We had a great visit at this property! It was a convenient location for us, as we have family in the surrounding area. The barn is spacious but with a cozy feel and all the renovations they have done are impressive. It is stocked with everything you could want for your stay and then some. We will gladly return again!

Great stay for Family Weekend

What a great property! Our family enjoyed our stay while visiting Kenyon College. It's just a short drive to Gambier from the Barn. The property is clean and comfortable with plenty of room for all of us. We love the it is pet friendly. Highly recommend.

WOW! What an absolutely gorgeous place! How Leslie had the vision to makeover this old barn is beyond me! The history of this barn/turned into a beauuuuutiful home is super cool!! We felt like we had walked on to the set of Yellowstone! Located in the middle of cornfields and cattle, there is PLENTY of room for everyone, so cozy, warm, welcoming! A GREAT LOFT with a catwalk to the game room, great porches and fire pit outside. Best part was the dream kitchen in which to open a bottle of wine, cook dinner for some hungry equestrians, and linger over coffee (decaf) to unwind. A perfect place to come “home” to after a full day of competition at Bravehorse (only a 20 minute drive). We will definitely book this beautiful barn the next show!!! I almost hate to tell everyone about it because I’d secretly want to keep it to myself! lol! But truly… you HAVE to check this treasure out! And Leslie is my favorite host of all time.

Beautiful updated barn in a quiet country location.

This past weekend our crew of 7 moms stayed at "The Barn" for our college reunion. The owner was gracious and provided us with everything that we needed. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies. There were also fresh eggs from the neighbors! We had a wonderful time and if you are looking for a peaceful weekend away, this is the place to stay.

Country Getaway

Enjoyed the unique renovated barn setting. Perfect for our weekend family wedding nearby. Could have used better outside furniture on porch. A little too much of the owners stuff in the house. The coffee machine was nice and very cozy.

I am so sorry you were not happy with the outside furniture. I have Adirondak chairs from Frontgate, recliners, and outside plastic chairs for the fire pit. You are right, the barn has lots of eclectic stuff specifically related to the history of the barn. It's a fine line between portraying the barn's history and too much stuff! Thanks for the suggestions, I'll take it to heart!

Restored Barn that lives up to Listing

Leslie was super helpful and accommodating during and after our rental. Large open family room area and kitchen with a modern take. A large loft area with sleeping and tv room is available but we never left the living room couch to enjoy it. The property is very cool and is definitely distinct from the neighbors, so it was very easy to locate from the direction provided. A nice place to enjoy a relaxing weekend.

Living in the Barn

Awesome property! Very unique and definitely not a "cookie cutter" stay. Leslie was very attentive to every need. She left personal notes and a welcome gift. She also checked in with us during our stay to make sure everything was fine. Awesome area to explore (mounds, winery, Granville, Heath, Alligator Mound,). Was a nice place to get away. We had fun visiting our kiddos at Denison. Looking forward to returning...maybe graduation weekend. Very memorable stay.

Decided to convert an old barn into a home. it is a romantic, quiet beautiful getaway. I hope you enjoy the get away as much as I do. We do use this, so please treat this as you would your own home! It is more a home than a motel! When we did the renovation, we saved old barn siding from the hayloft and chicken area. We sealed these, and you can see faint calculations and dates on them keeping track of their egg? sales of the day!!!

There is a small farm across the lane and if they are around, ask to see the cows, the chickens might be over at your place! You still have easy access to Gambier(Kenyon College)Granville (Denison College), Ohio.35-55 minutes gets you to COLUMBUS, OHIO. Intel will be ten minutes away. Drive 20 minutes to Gambier or Granville for charming restaurants. explore both small-town charm and big-city activity!
