Rooms were very clean, and I will definitely emphasize that. Host was quick to respond to any and all our questions which were just general questions, nothing of concern. Check in was easy, no stress when checking out either. Location was great, middle of everything. Kitchen was well stocked with all cooking utensils and plenty of pots and pans (we like to cook) so that was great. Kids loved the pool. Wish we could have spent more time in pool area but days just go by so quick. Outdoor Bbq area a major plus! Nice atmosphere with the pool and lights along fence. Plenty of room for all of us including our doggy (10 people plus dog). Had a great time and will definitely return. Felt like home to us.

Overall the rental was great! My only feedback is, it may. Be time to replace some of the furniture because some of the chairs weren’t as sturdy to sit on and we didn’t want to break them and the microwave door handle is broken. The place was clean and the layout was great could use more kitchen tools for the downstairs kitchen to be able to cook as well

Our stay was amazing! Robert was extremely helpful and very communicative. The location was great, there was a specs and Whataburger nearby which was super convenient. We stayed for 3 nights and couldn’t have picked a better place! All the rooms had plenty of space and the backyard including the pool was beautiful. I highly recommend this spot for anyone!

July 4th stay

My family and friends had an amazing time. The house is spacious with comfortable beds and ice-cold AC. The upstairs patio provided a lovely afternoon breeze, allowing us to sit, chat, and simply enjoy each other's company. I would definitely love to stay again!

Beautiful but

It was overall a beautiful house, just had one room that lights wouldn’t turn on at all. It was 5 of us in one room and not a single light could turn on, which we needed ! Tried to contact property manager, didn’t reply. Other than that, this was a beautiful house.

The location was good. Easy walking distance to the Whataburger and just a few blocks to shops and other restaurants. A car is needed if you want to take the kids to the beach since you have to cross the busy main street to get to the beach side of the island. The house consisted of two separate apartment style units. While we were able to make it work, our family did have to break into two groups every night which we had not anticipated. The pool and picnic area was accessible through an outdoor stairway and almost hidden from sight. The grandkids didn't even realize that there a pool on the premises until I took them around the back to show it to them. It was not used the entire time we were there-out of sight, out of mind kind of thing. Overall, our stay was a little underwhelming, not bad, just okay. Just felt kind of sparse and basic, nothing special. South Padre was great as always. We stayed in nicer homes in the past. This one needs a little more TLC to make it a nicer stay for guests.

Nice get away

There were so many pros to this house. It was a nice getaway. I liked how there were 2 different living areas and the house had an upstairs with 2 rooms, kitchen and livingroom and the bottom had the same thing, both with their own entrance. It made it convenient for us, my brother and his friends stayed up stairs and my husband and I stayed down. This house is a great idea for 2 families that want to stay in the same house but have their own space. The pool was a plus too it wasn’t too big or too small. Also about a mile from all the bars and a few night spots.

Overall Good

Overall everything was good..only a few minor details like the trash bin outside being super full so we couldn't throw any of our trash. Swimming pool was dirty when we checked in so our kids couldn't get in. Everything else was great.

We’re hands-on, local hosts who genuinely care about providing a comfortable and stress-free stay for our guests. We take pride in maintaining our property, responding quickly to messages, and being transparent so guests know exactly what to expect before they arrive.

We enjoy hosting families, couples, and groups visiting South Padre Island to relax, reconnect, and make great memories. Our goal is simple: provide a clean, well-equipped home in a great location, with clear communication and no surprises.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

We chose this neighborhood because of its unbeatable balance of convenience and comfort. The home is located just a short walk from Beach Access #11, making it easy to enjoy the beach without needing to drive or search for parking.

The area is centrally located on the island, close to restaurants, shops, grocery stores, and popular attractions, while still being a residential area that’s great for families and longer stays. It’s an ideal spot to enjoy everything South Padre Island has to offer.

この宿泊施設の特徴

Casa Del Mar offers a rare layout that works perfectly for larger groups and families traveling together. The home consists of two separate 2-bedroom units—one upstairs and one downstairs—each with its own private entrance, kitchen, and living space.

This setup provides both togetherness and privacy, making it ideal for multi-family trips, parents traveling with adult children, or groups who want space to spread out.

Additional standout features include a private swimming pool, a large fenced yard, parking for up to six vehicles, pet-friendly accommodations, and smart TVs throughout the home—all within walking distance to the beach.
