Lake Home Getaway ~ Pets Welcome!

The perfect spot for a Lake house vacation! This 3br-2ba waterfront property is located on the North end of Indian Lake. Entertainment abound - both indoors and out! The property includes 67 feet of channel, making it the ideal place to boat, fish and swim! 🚤🎣🤿

Included with your stay: water sport equipment w/ signed waiver. Includes a pedal boat, 3 kayaks, and 2 stand up paddle boards 🛶 Life jackets provided in most sizes including children & dogs 🛟

Pets stay for free! 🐶😸

The home is equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay on the Lake. In the living room, you’ll find kid’s toys, books for all ages, puzzles, board games, playing cards, and dice. The enclosed patio features a dart board and ping pong. Also in the patio, you’ll find some life sized yard games to include Spike Ball, Connect 4, Yahtzee, Jenga, Corn Hole, & Kan Jam!

Guest Access:

Guests have access to the full home. The dock is scheduled for major renovation, but there’s plenty of channel space to tie up a boat right next to the home.

Host Availability:

I am available for questions by text during my waking hours: 7am-10pm local time and am responsive for phone calls. Feel free to message at any time. There’s a good chance one of the co-hosts (Dustin & Drew) or I will be able to answer quickly.

Amenities & Other Details:

Hot Tub is professionally serviced weekly on Wednesday or Thursday (depending on mother nature). If this occurs during your stay, I will notify you of the schedule prior to your arrival.

Crib, High Chair and Changing Table available upon request.

Level 2 EV charger available along with RV electric hookup (NEMA 14-50 plug). They share the same plug, so only one amenity can be used at any given time.

This home has well water with a water softener & full home filtration system. The water is fine to drink, but some may still be averse to the taste. We provide bottled water, but plan to bring more if desired. There is a gas station a quick five minute drive away as well.

Due to proximity to a State Park (wooded area) and the lake, there is a lot of wildlife and bugs in the area (mosquitos, deer, ducks, raccoons, foxes, snakes, mice, etc). We do have preventative measures for bugs & pests, but nothing is full proof. If the presence of critters makes you uncomfortable, this might not be the best fit for your stay.

We do accept custom requests. Send us a message with details on how we can make your stay as special as possible, and we will let you know if it’s doable! Additional charges may be added, but will always be agreed upon.

Neighborhood:

This neighborhood is tucked back into a quiet cul de sac. The neighbors on the right are super friendly, so feel free to say hi! The channel acts as a little street in itself and boaters are typically open for conversations on their way out to the main lake or as they fish.

Getting Around:

This is a drive in neighborhood. If you bring bicycles, it’s perfect for a ride around. There’s a small convenience store and gas station about a mile from the home (you’ll need to drive as it’s on a busy road). There’s a new restaurant that is a half mile from the house that serves pretty good food. The roads to it are safe for walking, but you’ll need to cross one busier road to get there. If you have a boat or a rent a boat, that’s the best way to get around! Tie up right at the house and enjoy your stay :)

There is a single security camera monitoring the driveway for safety purposes and insurance reasons. This camera records audio and video upon motion. It is not regularly monitored and footage is only reviewed in the case of an incident or concern.

Great vacation with friends

This property had plenty of activities to occupy my friends and I as we celebrated the new year. Very comfortable lake house with lots of activities for your stay. Quiet neighborhood. We rented a pontoon for a few days and enjoyed the lake. Super laid back. Lots of restaurants w patio dining so our pups could join us. Highly recommend.

Great family getaway!

This was a wonderful place for several family members to meet up and spend some relaxing time together! Everything we needed was provided! The younger people kayaked and we all enjoyed the game room. Grilling out and enjoying dinner on a great deck with a wonderful view was the highlight! Ended a couple of nights with a fire! We hope to come back again!

Fantastic Vacation!

This property was just as stated! Beautiful location, Clean and all amenities you could want. My grandchildren, ages 8 and 9, loved all the games. The water toys were enjoyed by all of us. I loved I could keep up with the laundry and not have to haul dirty clothes home. Hope to come back next year!

Perfect and comfortable

We loved the secluded location on a cul de sac and the cozy cottage feel. We came in October and enjoyed using the gas fireplace and evening dips in the hot tub. The beds were extremely comfortable! The hosts had the house stocked with lots of “just in case” items that are easy to forget sometimes. The hosts must love dogs because there are lots of special touches inside that made our Dolly feel special. She loved the array of tennis balls the most. We’d definitely stay again. Communication and friendliness of the host was also a treat.

Great All Weather Stay

This is the perfect get a way for the whole family! The first two days of our trip was cold and rainy, which would normally be a wasted trip to the lake, but the house was overflowing with all kinds of fun games and activities for everyone to do indoors as well as out. It was great to see our teenagers having so much fun without their faces glued to their phones! Becca was great to work with from the time I booked until we got back home. I highly recommend staying here! I know our family is already excited about coming back.

Perfect Family Vacation

The house and property manager were absolutely wonderful. The house had so many water toys to entertain everyone when the weather was beautiful and then when it was rainy, we had board games, darts, rings, ping pong, etc. No one was bored. On top of all the "extras" that the house comes with, we also had everything you would typically want to have at home. Thank you so much for such an amazing experience and providing so many items that many spots do not. The "extra" mile was noticed and appreciated. Thank you!

Family getaway for husband's birthday and my twins graduation. Pictures match listing and neighborhood is very peaceful and quiet located at dead end street. Spacious and accommodating for my family of 5. All you need to pack are your clothes. Also delicious little ice cream stand down the street. Felt like home and we were entertained the whole time. Absolutely loved all the extras from the paddle boat & kayaks to darts, giant jenga, giant yahtzee and cornhole. My kids didn't want to leave. Will definitely be added to my favorites list and would recommend to anyone who is looking for an escape to Indianlake. Host has set everything up for your stay but is available if you need. Truly is an amazing lake house. We loved it 💜 I'm 100% sure we will be booking again.

Best Indian Lake stay ever!

Weve been visiting the lake on and off for about 30 years. This house is by far our favorite. Becca and Drew have gone above and beyond to insure the comfort of their guests. The house is in a really nice location- close to the Blackhawk marina, easy access to everything, midway on the canal. It is stocked with more sporting goods and games than we could begin to use in our short visit. Our 11 and 8 year old grandsons were in vacation bliss. They especially enjoyed the paddle boat and fishing and swimming off the dock. The house was great for our family. We always hope for 2 king rooms and a kid room, and thats what we had here. Very comfortable for everyone. The amenities in the house far exceeded our needs and expectations. We have used vacation rentals for about 40 years and I'm used to packing an "essentials box" with minor comfort items like tylanol and salt. Our hosts here had thought of so many little details that I had overpacked! The dogs are probably going to rebel until we find a bed as cozy as the one provded here😉 We hope to be able to come back next summer. Indian Lake has always been a favorite short escape, but next time, we're staying longer.

Great location and relaxing stay

The family (2 adults, 1 teenager, and 2 German Shepherds) took a long summer weekend getaway. We carefully selected a location that was somewhat secluded, on the water, close to the beach, and with a game room in case of bad weather. This property met those requirements perfectly! It rained our first two nights and we had plenty to do indoors. The four seasons room had table tennis, darts, and several other games. There was also a huge selection of boards games. All rooms had TVs with all the standard steaming apps, and WiFi did great. There is a new local restaurant directly across the turn in to the drive that serves great carryout food. On the third day, we traveled to the beach, a short drive away and wrapped up with steaks on the gas grill on the back deck. Our only regret is that we didn't rent a boat to fully utilize all this property has to offer, but there's always next time! Everything was better than described on the listing! Plenty of small touches that make a huge difference! Thanks for sharing your home! Now we have to go buy a ping pong table and Hookum since we discovered a love of the games. My teenage son spent a lot of time away from his phone playing these games with me (dad).

Problems with hot tub, however was notified by owner prior and they gave us a 50 dollar credit before the stay. Upon arrival at 15 min past the time of check in, cleaning co was still there. Tried to text owner through vrbo but there must have been a problem with there site as no messages went through. I knocked on the door and the cleaner told me it would be another hour. The owner did text and did give a creit for the late checkin. The house ia very large. The description is very accurate with a large amount of games and things to do. It is anOlder home. Most doors, cabinets, walls have cracks, marks, scratches, etc. There was a 3 x 5 piece of plywood in the hall ceiling with painters tape around it. Outside of the shower was very rusty and aged. On a positive they provided everything you needed down to even toothbrushes and mints on the pillows. Beddding and towels were very clean. Refrigerator was very dirty, food was left in it and even two pies. AlsoTwo bags of pills of some type were ledt on the fridge. The floors were somewhat clean but a lot of hairballs behind furniture. Stove, microwave and dishwasher were very old. The problems started on the second night when all were woke up by the spund of running water, a pump and banging in the walls every three min. Texted the owner at5:30 am several time, no response. Finally around 8 am the owner responded. I told her we were packing up and leaving since No one had slept. The owner refundedand the te

This house is a young people and children's paradise! Games, basketball hoop, Every kind of ball there is.. Paddle boat, every size life jackets Plus SO much more. Animals welcome. What’s not to love? On the lake with every amenity you could possibly want. The owner takes very good care of her guest. Even providing sunscreen (among many other items). Great for family gatherings as it has a large deck overlooking the channel. I would stay here again

Awesome lake house

Awesome rental property! The host was extremely helpful and responsive to my questions prior to our stay and the extreme attention to detail was apparent from the moment we walked in the house. The home was spotless, and every possible thing you could imagine was provided. I’ve stayed in tons of rental homes and these owners are at the top of the list for amenities and supplies provided. The paddle boards and kayaks, yard games, inside games, fishing, swimming, boating was all amazing and our family had a very memorable time. We brought our dog and they even had a toy and treat for him. I highly recommend this home, you won’t be disappointed!

To sum it up: I’m a Marine Veteran currently living in New Hampshire. I grew up in a small town in Ohio, but lived in California for 6 years (2015-2021).
9 to 5 life: I work in the IT industry for a Defense Company in Massachusetts.
The fun stuff: my main passion is anything I can do with my two dogs, Daisy & Duke. I’m a huge dog person so all of my homes are pet friendly to friendly pets. I also love meeting new people and exploring new places so Airbnb/Vacation home rentals has become my secondary passion!

Why they chose this property

Ever since I was younger, I wanted to own a home on Indian Lake. This Lake is 20 minutes from where I grew up. In 2022, I was able to make that dream come true. Although I live out of state, I now have a beautiful home to enjoy with my family every time I visit Ohio, and I am so excited to be able to share that experience with you too!
